Simple chalet style lodging that gives what is necessary for a one or two night stay. Staff is very very friendly and helpful. Always greeting the guests warmly.

This is a relatively old fashioned country motel. Clean and quiet in a quiet location. Expensive restaurant breakfast and no toaster in the room. Also we booked for 4 people and got 3 of everything except towels. Shower was good lots of hot water. Wifi worked well. Parking on site. Receptionist hsd a REALLY worried tourist Mum in front of medealt with her helpfully and compassionatelyin spite of the fact I was waiting and many othetsgood job. She was then efficient and helpful with everyone elseincluding the coachload piling into the lobby. Would stay again

Stayed for one night in a 1 bedroom motel unit. The unit was very clean, cozy and well setup. There was a full range of kitchen items, great large shower and plenty of heaters if it got cold.

Our room is due for a spruce up but perfectly clean and had fantastic beds comfortwise. We were a late booking for holiday weekend which probably explains room. Excellent restaurant which was very popular . Would def.return to this place asap. Thankyou to all involved in our enjoyable stay.

First room I was in was in need of a revamp, second room I was in had been revamped (re-modeled). Overall, comfort was good, room was warm with the heater (night store) going but did make a bit of noise during the night. Bar/Restaurant closed what seemed quite early on the night's were there (Friday / Saturday). Has nice open fire place to gather round, especially good in winter. Overall was a good place to stay and comfortable.

Classic and old fashion hotel.
Come with a positive attitude, this hotel offer a very classic feeling, the room is clean, got a bathtub, although bathroom need some work, and warmer need some work too.
They also have a native cat living here, very cute cat.
They also have a bar with a nice fireplace.
And also, this hotel is also one of the hotel booked by lord of the ring crews when they filmed one of the scenes in the area around hereresponse / report this review -

Decor outdated but ok. Great atmosphere around open fireplace in bar and dining room. Restaurant needs to get decent coffee ☕ staff very helpful and breakfast/dinner buffet nice but abit on the costly side. Enjoyed our stay.

Deluxe suite is not deluxe. Pictures on website are misleading. Whole place very old and musty smelling, despite being called 'new'. Over priced. Booked online the day before and was not organised by the time we got there, leaving us waiting. Fridge/freezers were not working and inefficient in cooling. Bathrooms dated. Poor shower water pressure. ? Cleanliness. Positives : plenty of parking, beds comfortable, and warm.
