    Unbelievably poor service!

Lunch on a weekend, why not a popular yumcha house - Grand Harbour. As Ive heared stories of good quality tasting yumcha.

    1. Asked for water more than 5x before someone care to serve, should they just place a tap accesible to everyone instead of making their guests wait?

    2. As we sitted, just like any other yum cha house where you are expected to eat some good siomai, we went into the condiments to get some chili sauce. A minute later, a manager (i just assumed shes a manager) came to our table in a classic poker face, telling us that we should finish off all the chili sauce and soy sauce we got, otherwise they will charge us if they see leftovers. - I dont mind it coz I know i can finish off whatever we got, but until that notice isnt placed in the condiments section - this is just money making and an avenue for being rude - and the manner of delivering the message was so unpleasant that never got an ounce of empathy. - staff training perhaps?

    3. Food was overpriced, considering their very bad service and unhappy staff - you’ll be unhappy paying 40bux per person for this kind of unhappy place

Food quality was average, comparing to a nice yumcha house in Brisbane CBD, Grand Harbour has lot of work to do to improve taste and overall guest experience

If not for the tasty siomai and crablets, wont even get a star from me. I walk out unhappy not for the food, but for having serviced by unhappy staff in an unhappy place

Will I be coming back ? - NO period

Very busy. Has a lots of large round tables. During lunch dim sum carts go around for easy and quick. Very good and taste good.

Mmmmmmm, Grand Harbour! Centre of all things my food baby needs to grow and grow. magical Yum Cha, wide variety, endless green tea and actually hot food - unlike some yum cha places (Grand Park? Are you listening?) they get it straight out of the kitchen and straight to your table. Reasonably priced, a wonderful experience.

This is a great restaurant for yum cha lunch. Bookings are essential as the place is always busy. There is a large array of food on offer and the waiting staff are always around so there is no delay in getting food.
There is a parking building right next door and the restaurant will validate $5. 00 towards the parking.

Very disappointedcalled & booked a table for father's day a week earlier. The reception guy confirmed my booking. We were there on time yesterday and told still have to wait for at least 30 minutes regardless😖 It would be fine that if you told me no booking is accepted on father's day and will be a first in first serve base. Totally that was a horrible customer experience

Just the best! The one place I love to go when coming to Auckland and it is never a let down. The duck is a must.

Very poor service!!! A bunch of kids who have no idea on servicing food
Wasn't offer a drink till 6 dishes delivered to the table..
People complaining all around us! And moving tables to get better service..

Dragon Boat is a better option!!

From a regular dinner at Harbourside

Best Yum Cha I have found in Auckland. Usually easy enough to walk in and get a table, but does get busy! Yummy deep fried squid, selection of dumplings, plates of authentic Chinese cuisine. Tea is always 👌🏻 delicious! My favourite.

    Good atmosphere.
    Well maintained.
Food is served continuously at your table by the servers.
The communication skills of staff turned out to be very disappointing which was a surprise for a restaurant advertised as an upscale one.
Vegetarian options are next to none.
Service is slow. Didn't find food quality up to its value.

Good selection of Chinese food, tasty and well presented. Very pricey for what you get in terms of portion size, drinks are also towards the extortionate side. Very large dining area which is neatly decorated. We were the last customers and were rushed to finish up and leave by 10.30pm by pushy staff

Great selection. Go here all the time. Get there before 12 to avoid the lunch rush.

Some staff ignorant and bad mannered. No appreciation of customer care. Food of good quality but little choise of dim sum dishes. Waited long time for dishes we wanted to become available. Prices too high for quality and delivery of service we experienced.

We would not go to this restaurant again !!!

Good and tasty food but pricey and busy. Parking sucks. 4 stars because food outweighs everything else. The crab is great if you're feeling flashy
