  Ryobi RPW3200 - Dont Buy This Unit!!!
  
  Unit Retails at $799 NZD
  
  Used about 10 times - 2YRS
  
  The water bypass - Black Plastic Tube in Pic developed a leak
  
  The split grew with each subsequent use (2)
  
  Tried to replace the part ( a circa 3-4cm plastic screw in tube)
  
  Bunnings say Ryobi can only supply the head assembly complete at a cost of over $400.
  
  I contacted the ryobi agent in NZ which diverts to Australia. They confirmed the same.
  
  They agreed it seemed absurd but it is what it is. I wish they had put that on the box when I looked for a pressure washer.
  
  Other than this the unit has served well. The point is why make a replaceable plastic bypass if you cannot replace it? If you cannot support your product I would not have purchased it.
  
  Secondly, I recommended buying products that if sold in NZ are supported locally in NZ. This means a local help desk not just a sales agent.
  
  It is a real struggle to find some support for this product. I am sure it exists but who has time to unravel the support structure that is (all too) commonly complicated these days.
  
  The help desk in Australia did not possess any out of this world technical prowess. It would be more comforting to know that you have a point of contact locally whom is willing to take ownership of the issue.

  Wide selection of reasonably priced products. Staff are quite friendly to help and there is a very fun playground for the kids too!

  An amazing place to buy the household stuff here. Most of the stuff is really very good, good quality and best prize. Staff is very helpful too. They have area for children to play so while you shop, your children can have fun.

  Poor Service. Very average pricing. Been using this supplier for the last 6 years. They've been going downhill for a few years. Often hard to get attention even when there are no other customers.

  Good service generally . The plumbing section used to have a staff member who was knowledgeable on plumbing this seems to have disappeared they really should get someone in for that section who is an ex-plumber or knowledgeable in that line. Just recently I have noticed a dwindling of staff numbers and this is a little frustrating at times when looking for help.

  You go into shop can't get any help when you see a staff member it is not there area can't help , you spend most of your time waiting . Then on top to add insult to after spending money there if you go through drive through they want to ch your car out and your boot if you walk in with a handbag they want to check out you that is the thanks for shoppingful in there when you complain it is there policy to treat customers in this fashion stores and spending your hard earnt money . I have never experienced this in Mirt10 botany only friendly help people

  Service in the paint section is exceptional. Both staff are knowledgeable and tinting does not cost extra. I took back 4 litres and asked what they could do to make it darker for me and I am really happy with the result and no extra charge.

  I love Bunnings and this store is one of the reasons why. Really helpful staff who are patient when its clear you haven't a clue what you're talking about. Great prices too.
