We were expecting a fine dining experience but unfortunately our meals were mediocre at best. I had a bland, oily & chewy veal schnitzel. My friend opted for the signature steak frites. Steak over cooked & did they get the fries from McDonald's? All very poorly presented. Our waiter never checked in to see how it we were going and when paying no one asked if we enjoyed the meals.

Loved the company, my partner ☺, & the souffle was delicious the duck was very mediocre as was the veal the proffiteroles wer terrible. The menu' s on a board on the wall is very uncomfortable if ur sitting under them as everyone is standing in front of you to read them. I was very disappointed especially for the prices you pay 1st & last time I will be going there 😐

Very good local bistro. Good service. Goats cheese souflee still amazing. Steak frites fairly ordinary - inexplicably lacked seasoning. Amazing dessert

The cheese souffle was phenomenal. Had the special beef cheek and my wife had the veal snitchel. We were both very happy with our meals. I wasn't too sure I'd feel comfortable because I tend to go to fairly laid back less upmarket restaurants but the staff made us feel very welcome. A great evening. Thanks!

To be quite honest, the food served was very below average. The Thai Pork Salad was way to salty (even for us salt lovers). The Hapuka fish was overcooked which was served on a tasteless bed of 'baked beans', and I couldn't even finish the Veal Schnitzel. I'm definitely not one to write bad reviews about a place but I seriously believe this place deserves it, especially for the prices they charge. I would have given it a 1 star if it wasn't for their friendly staff. I hope it was just a bad night for the Chef.

Awful. Really disappointing food and service. Had the steak and requested medium rare. Came out overcooked. Even worse were the frozen packed fries that came with meal. Type you get at McDonalds. Not what you would ever expect from a so called fine dining establishment.
Also worth checking your bill as they tried to overcharge us.

Beautiful dinner here with a group of friends from work. The Steak Frites was amazing. Had the New York Cheesecake for dessert. Will definitely be back!

It was our first time at this restaurant and we didn't have a reservation on Saturday night but the staff was wonderful - found us a table in a nice corner spot. The fish mains were incredible! So was accompanying sav blanc. Special thanks to Roxy for her friendly and intelligent service. She is beautiful. Homemade truffles were divine! Definitely wil be back.
