Atmosphere is roomy, relaxed, & cosy with a fire whenever it's cold out. Meals are always generous! & well presented. Good hearty food, without being too extravagant & arty! Never come away hungry!
And a real treat is Philip the barman. Always makes you feel at home! Real people!!

we are locals to the area and know that if you want a tasty great meal, then its off to the Fort. The atmospheres rustic, warm and cosy and the staff happy and helpful. A+ in our books..

Its the old dairy factory that Hayden, wife Mary brought saved . frm demolition creating thrievingfamily business..hostn a ,restaurant,a full stock bar ,a pokie room,even has ashop with crafts and art ,the foods great and pizzas bay bar ,with garden area with plenty space with BBQ space,..also plenty parkn

Lovely outdoor courtyard. Plenty of character. A bit dingy inside but it is an old place with a bit of history - and a doll collection?? Had pizza which was ok but I prefer a thin base. Would stop for a beer in the sun.
