Great way to break up the drive from Nelson to Greymouth. Beautiful spot, enhanced by the swing bridge and flying fox ride. Great wee walk around the peninsula - interesting walk and easy for kids.

Very unfriendly and stubborn owner. We wanted to have a drink, but were not allowed in unless we payed the full price for the swing bridge. No hospitality at all.

Nice place to stop after the drive through the Buller Gorge. We loved the swing bridge - sort of scary looking but not scary to cross. Everyone enjoyed the zip line. Be great if there was a cafe.

Complete Rip-Off, there are so many Swing-Bridges in nz, why pay for this? The advertised earthquake faultline is more or less just a sign. The whole park looks like no one cares for it. The waterfall is nothing more than a rapid. Safe money and time for something else.

Driving through the South island, we happened upon Buller Gorge by accident. I can only say it was fantastic!! The swing bridge may be slim, but that's half the fun off getting across the river. The walk through the grounds on the opposite side of the river was great, forest, beach and information about the earthquakes kept us all entertained (from 2 to 68 years old!). The tandem zip-line on return across the river was so much fun, made even better because my 2 year old was able to make the trip with me, strapped on my lap! Thanks for a fun experience on my birthday guys, you have a great little set up.
