  Amazing views however you'll need a decent car to get up here, when I came up today (December 10th 2017) the road is a little sketchy, and very steep in places. Another thing is the view from a small lookout down the road just before you get to the top has much better views than at the carpark if you are just coming up for the views.

  Remote and not unknown to thief but if you don't leave valuables in your vehicle, a great spot to leave your vehicle and go into the mountains.

  Quite a bit of parking space. Wind kicks up a lot of dust.
  Neat little shelters to view the park and plan routes.

  Great ambience and selection of carparks. Friendly weka's and wasps occupying the toilet only, not the information shelter.

  Highest car park in the area. 2WD's can get up there provided they have a bit of grunt and a good radiator.
