Historical hotel. Great location. Friendly service. Clean and quite.full breakfast. Good restaurants , shopping and other historical places near by or walking distance.
Excellent location in the old Hanse area of Bergen. The hotel is located in a historic building and includes the matching furniture style, which adds to the charme.
Since the hotel consists of two adjacent building with a small permanently covered corridor in between, the rooms to the "inside" have no option to cool down in warm summers. An AC would help, but is lacking.
Definitly THE place to stay in Bergen!
One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in, extremely well presented and very friendly staff. Breakfast was superb with a great choice of food, the bar was very comfortable in the evening with a friendly and laid back atmosphere. Positioned directly on the front with immediate access to the city centre, a short walk to the airport bus stop "Fish Market".
Great setting, lovely breakfast. Bergen is a wonderful city and the staff was helpful in a practical Norwegian way. Would definitely consider it next time I'm in Norway!
Some noise from the outside at the rooms, but not so much that we couldn't sleep at night. The room was big enough for the two of us. With bathtub and separate shower. The hotel is in one of the oldest building in bergen, so it's got some romantic atmosphere.
Splendid little hotel. Central location. Good breakfast.
I stayed here for several nights in September 2016. Great accomodations right in the heart of the action. Plenty of good restaurants and walking areas to visit. Right on the harbor. I'm going back in December.
Cozy hotel in a converted from two olden fishing houses. Extremely interesting to walk around the hallways as you cross from house to house in a glass enclosed otherwise open atrium. Best hotel!
Cute hotel. A little quirky but that's what I liked about it. We had room 455 which was spacious with a stepped up bathroom. Couple of restaurants attached and conveniently located.
