The location of the hotel is perfect. It is located at bryggen, a popular tourist location and just a short walk from the "real" city center. The room was modern but a bit cramped, although it had an enormous bathroom. Strange choice if you ask me. It was convenient to have a "full" kitchen rather then just a minibar. I would give the place 5 stars if the room had had a place to sit and eat. To be fair: one of the furniture had a table built in, but it was blocked by the bed so it was pretty much useless. The price was cheap and overall worth the money.

Good: Location and clean modern rooms.
Bad: Check-in can be difficult (unmanned facilities and confusion over what confirmation number was required, no answer on the helpline). Kitchenette facilities lacking (no kettle). No ironing facilities available.response / report this review -

Excellent hotel. Lovely comfortable and a nice place to be. Cooking facilities are good for the size. Price is reasonable given the location

Good value option in downtown Bergen. Automated reception. No early checking in. Room was clean, comfortable and newly refurbished. I liked the room and set-up. Would stay there again.

Good location in tourist center. Kitchen is lacking, no water boiler or coffee facilities, and cooking plates are slow and awkwardly placed. Filthy dishes on arrival but quick reply by management on this. Don't think I'd be satisfied by the quality of the fold-out bed, but the main bed is comfortable.
