The location is not in the city center. But this one was cheapest accommodation we found in Bergen. It's full of young backpackers. The room is small but clean. The internet is good. The main kitchen and dining room always full. We used other kitchen in the basement. It's normally empty, but I felt like it's a little spooky (just my imagination, of course)

location is far from the city center you have to take a bus or a long walk, very close to Ulriken for hikers, stuff are very friendly, i asked to change my room and they kindly changed at the time, some of the 4 bed dorms have a private bathroom and some do not have you ask for those how has its private bath

Wonderful hostel. The staff was very kind and coordinated me being able to arrive late and be there by myself. It was clean and comfortable. They provide cookies and tea every day at a certain time. If you go out back there is also a very beautiful view of Bergen!! It's close to a bus stop as well so you can get into the city center easily. Definitely recommend. Lots of breakfast options as well.

There is a beautiful view over Bergen from the dinning area and especially from just outside the hostel, since the hostel is located halfway up a mountain. Right next to the dinning area, there is a pretty cozy room, where you can go if you just need to chill. (and get some free wifi) Their three-man rooms of course weren't really amazing, but they were clean and comfortable. I liked it, but obviously don't expect more than a nice hostel. They had normal, okay breakfast and you can buy pizza later.

Mostly okay. Rooms were clean, and food options to buy were reasonable. Free breakfast in the morning was quite good. Downside is that they charge a substantial amount for sheets upon arrival (like it seems many places in Norway do).

The social aspect is great. The rooms are okay. The showers leave a lot to be desired (bit moldy). But the breakfast is fair, staff are incredibly helpful and kind. The rate is great compared with other lodging in the area. Overall, I recommend it!

Nice staff, very good and delicious breakfast, great volunteers organising activities like hikes and sightseeing tours for free for the guests. Amazing view over Bergen from the rocks with benches directly at the hostel. Nice living room. Great to meet people, when you are traveling alone! The dorms are absolutely fine

The staff are very friendly and helpful. Everything is well organized, well kept, and clean. Breakfast is provided. The only thing is I wish that there were more outlets in each room, maybe beside each of the beds. Besides that, I have enjoyed my stay.
