Perfect place, extra ++ for breakfast. Just few minutes walk from the Main railway station. The room is not for 4 person just "up to 4" person, which is = 3 person. So, it is for just 3 adults. But recommended for everybody!
Right at the city center. Helpful crew. Minimalistic pop art style. Powerful breakfast. The reception also serves as the bar and cafe of the hotel. Prices are reasonable when compared to the city avarage and the products are good quality. About the rooms: Ultra silent at nights. Lots of electric plugs, huge TV. However, the rooms are furnished just for the basic needs. For instance, do not expect to find a refrigerator.
Stayed here for just one night, room is simple but have what you need. Would have liked the Aircon to be working better in the evening. Breakfast has good selection, a bit basic. Only black coffee and tea. Wish they had waffles or other kind of cake available, especially since it was a weekend. Location is on point! Barely a walk from the central station.
I stayed here for 2 nights to run my Oslo Marathon in late September 2010. My room had nice view with elegant furniture and cozy setting. Complimentary breakfast was fantastic and abundant. Train station to catch my flight was just a few blocks away. So were the beautiful Oslo harbor and my marathon start line. Very friendly staff :)
We spent 2 nights at Comfort Hotel Boesparken June 29-July 2. Location is fantastic, just a short walk from Oslo central station. Go to the rooftop for a great view of the opera house (roof area is quite small, but worth it for a photo). We stayed in a standard room, which was extremely small, but clean. Note- there is no air conditioning. It rarely gets warm enough in Oslo to warrant AC, but you may want to ask the reception for a fan to at least get some circulation.
Breakfast is good, and does include some hot items. If you have specific questions about attractions, be prepared for reception to send you to the tourist information center at Central Station. The woman at the desk was not particularly knowledgeable/helpful.
Cute interior and great breakfast , dirty floors and forced to wait to check in bc they didn't clean our room in time for check-in
Location is very good, 2 min walk from Oslo Central Station, close to Opera House and to Oslo's main street Karl Johans gate.
Hotel was clean and smelling nice. Beds comfortable, room warm, bathroom with heated floor. Shower gel and towels provided.
Breakfast very nice, huge variety to choose from, for everyone's taste.
Wifi a little slow, but managed.
Price very good.
The hotel is just fine. Rooms are cheaper than in other hotels around, but it has it's price - rooms are not much equipped and breakfast is forgettable. Nevertheless, the locality is superb - you can see the Opera house in front of the building.
If our room in this hotel were described as a rental car, it'd be a super compact. But like a good car, everything is there, exactly where you need it. Clever things like super simple check-in, generous breakfast, options for early check in and late checkout laid out straight off the bat, and a location you can't fault make this one to heartily recommend. I'd stay here again.
The reception met me with smiles and great service!
I got a room with a view - the sea, Oslo Børs (Oslo Stock Exchange) and the Opera House. The room was high up, on the sixth floor, which I also had requested when booking.
The room was clean, with good a bed and a nice bathroom.
A central located hotel, in a relatively quiet area.
Super coffee machine in the lobby, had good and wide selection of coffee. During breakfast the coffee machine went out of more and more types of coffee. Since the hotel staff were made aware of this and nothing was done during the day, it was a small "fly in the ointment."
The breakfast was good, with a decent selection.
I noticed the fun "stickers" located around the hotel: "Hang in there," "The person next to you may become a friend. Say hi!".
There's a large fitness room downstairs!
The reception itself was very simple, and appeared more like a store with merchandise on the shelves behind.
In all its simplicity, the hotel is very fine. Large, spacious and open lobby, complete with dining room. Very versatile and tidy.
I'll gladly stay at this hotel again.
