  A nice hotel in a quiet part of Oslo, next to the ocean. Great restaurants nearby and all together a very good place to stay.

  Clean room, friendly staff, comfortable stay. I recommend. The breakfast was incredible!!! Your room cost is at least half to support the superb breakfast they provide complimentary. Don't miss out on the breakfast.

  I think it's an expensive hotel for the services received. I know it's Norway but still the rooms are small and everything feels like a budget hotel. Included breakfast was a bit disappointing after couple days.

  Had a very pleasant two-night stay here. The room (comfort) was spacious, clean, everything worked, and the kettle and coffee/tea provided were a welcome addition. The staff was friendly and helpful. Due to an early checkout we had to miss breakfast, but we got given complementary sandwiches and smoothies. Generally a very decent hotel, 10/10 would stay here again.

  Great location for getting into the city centre while remaining fairly quiet and friendly. Helpful staff who tried really hard to make the stay pleasant. Clean, well-equipped rooms with no noise from neighbours, and a fairly good breakfast bar. Super easy checking in and out. Excellent value for money, and will definitely stay here again!

  This hotel isn't much to talk about, the location of the hotel is decent. It's easy and quick to take a train to Oslo S. However, the hotel rooms are low standard and pretty basic.
  
  The view from the room in 4th floor is basically straight into a office building, couldn't even see the sky. The service at the desk was okay, the bar was horrible as they kept on having problems with everything and barely knew what their menu was as they got confused with every choice. The breakfast is a decent one though.
  
  Overall, a hotel I wouldn't visit again on my own.

  Scandic Sjølyst was a little difficult to find using Google Maps as it brought us on a longer route. Nearby shops open late and close early.
  
  Hotel was clean and rooms were cozy and comfortable.
  
  Front desk staff was helpful in attending to our queries and directions.
  
  Loved the idea of using wood with laminated plastic for their access card.
  
  Only King Room and above have electric kettle, so please bring along a travel electric kettle if you need hot water.
