Well equipped, ample space, friendly staff. Only drawback is one toilet in a bathroom together for 8 people dorm which is too tight during peak time, and no public kitchen but just a hob in the room for cooking. Utensils and pan and stuffs like that have to brought from reception. Not so convenient especially for travelers want to save some.money in Norway.

The staff was always available and helpful and friendly. I felt secure because there were lockers I could store my valuables. The lobby area is very nice. It's well decorated, has many outlets, a computer and a foosball table. I found it important to have a good lobby because I wanted to be awake later than my roommates. The only negative things about it were the laundry (which is through a garage and the dryer doesn't work great), and the bathrooms in the rooms. The bathrooms were really tiny compared to the size of the room, and the shower didn't have anything blocking the water from getting on the rest of the floor, so we had to wipe the water off the floor. Other hostels have had better setups for bathrooms, but all in all a great stay!

The location was is quite nice (in walking distance to central station). The room I was in was spacious, but had only few power outlets, so that some people chose to charge their phones in the lobby. The personnel is kind and patient. For the price I had not high expectations and was therefore not disappointed, so I can recommend it, if your goal is only to spend the night.

The hostel is good and located right in the middle of the city with access to bus and tram just outside the door. The only thing that I did not like was that you have to pay for the bed linen and towels. They also do not provide any bathroom accessories like hand wash, shampoo, etc. I read the information, so saved the money on the bed linen and towels by bringing my own. The kitchen utensils can be borrowed for 3 hours and is an option. It gives a typical hostel feeling, seems like you are back in hostel.

Staff was exceptional friendly and helpful. Rooms are wide with plenty of storage, clean and quite. There's a fridge and a bathroom in the room which are great so don't have to share them with the whole hostel. Plus there's a little kitchen in the room which requires you to borrow the equipment like pans, plates and cutlery from the reception in exchange of a deposit. I honestly borrowed a plate and a knife for making some sandwiches and they didn't ask me for any deposit. I really liked this hostel and the staff were always very helpful.
The lounge gets quite crowded specially during check-in time, but there's plenty of sofas where to sit and plugs everywhere where to charge your phone. You got then luggage room and lockers where you can store your stuff.
Nonetheless there's a bar at the reception which I never used but looked at the prices around it is very cheap.
The location is just perfect, there are like three supermarkets around the hostel, bus stop/ tram stop is just across the road or at the corner, and in 10 minutes walking you are at the Central station.
I fully recommend this hostel this is a very deal for the price.response / report this review -

When you're traveling in Norway and you need a place to spend the night in Oslo cheap, this is the place. A lot of travelers come here, so it's also a nice place to meet people.

The rooms are fairly nice with a small kitchen area and comfortable beds. The bathroom is slightly odd but nice once you get accustomed to it.

The location is quite good. The receptionists are nice. Unlike the hostel I lived in Edinburgh, you need to use your own linen pack or rent one.

Rooms are spacious and quite pleasant, with comfy beds and sleep 6. The bedding has to be rented from reception and you can't use a sleeping bag. There is a small kitchen unit in each room which has a fridge, 2 hob rings and a small oven and kitchen equipment can also be rented from reception. The bathroom is just for your room and has a shower which gets nice and hot but is quite awkward to use. Overall this place is quite nice, but doesn't offer any food e.g. breakfast, the drinks in reception are expensive and the way they mix groups in rooms is a little awkward in terms of gender distribution.

Decent hostel, kept mostly clean. Slightly out of town, not much of a hostel vibe or atmosphere to it. Fine if you just want a nights sleep.
