Great location! Smack bang in the middle of the Rembrandt city square that is filled with bars, coffeeshops and some other nice restaurants. Really convenient and not too far away from the main attractions of Amsterdam. WiFi is excellent and the rooms offer a fridge full of food and drinks for €2 each which isn't too bad. The only issue I found is that the stairs are almost vertical and have small steps, not ideal if you are disabled or have to carry your luggage up 3 flights of stairs. However, this is to be expected anywhere in Amsterdam. Other than that it was a very comfortable stay!!
Great location, unique rooms, a lot of very narrow and shallow steps, and the beds were very wobbly.
The room was like harry potters. So small couldnt pratice magic in there if you wanted to, no where to set up a cauldron, put all the school books even Hedwig wouldnt have fitted. Although the safe was better than gringotts at keeping people out as we couldnt even get into it. The pictures the site showed are completely misleading. One shower for an entire landing. We had a double and a twin room and the twin room had wasnt any better. The beds were next to each other and unable to be separated. The location on the other hand was great but that is the only positive. I stoped in another hotel in the same square for the same price the year before and it was by far better.
The Hotel is excellent. It is perfectly located, near of everything. A good value for money
Friendly staff, only minor issue with the room was a wall socket didn't work. All in all a pleasant experience.
I will be back to this place!!!
Hotel Atlanta has a high quality staff and the hotel is located in the BEST area. Everything I wanted and needed was within walking distance. As a matter of fact, I could have stayed the entire visit in just the block where the hotel is located. The room is cozy and has everything needed for you to enjoy all that Amsterdam has to offer.
While the location is great, my room was quite lacking, particularly for the price. The room was cramped and very dated, there was a strange smell, and my window looked into a dirty interior area with some duct work. The staff was friendly and I really only needed a bed for the night, so I wasn't too upset. However a friend stayed just a few blocks away in a modern hotel for a slightly lower price, so I'd recommend looking around at other options.
Excellent location, but the size is quite small.
It's a nice budget hotel. The beds and bathroom are clean. Staff are all friendly and happy to help. I did notice it's a little worn down, but not terribly. There was a tv and safe in the room. There's a lot of noise at night which really disturbed my sleep. I know that's to be expected when you're staying in a hotel right above several bars. But it's really difficult when you can hear every word of a karaoke at 3 am.
Nice staff, can't hear anything in room from the rooms next door but the rooms are too small and yiu can hear people easily in the hallways through the doors. If yiu don't mind all conditions then it's a interesting place to stay.
Clean rooms, comfortable bed, friendly staff and a great location.
Small room but fantastic location and friendly staff. If you are looking to spend time in the room this isn't the place but if you are going to explore Amsterdam it's pretty good
