Very good hotel with amazingly friendly competent and helpful personal. Good location next to Arena and train/metro station. Good restaurant is in the same building. Grocery shop 5 min walk. Breakfast included. Highly recommended.

Great hotel if you’re going to a concert nearby. Right off the metro and plenty of places in the area for food. The breakfast buffet is basic, but comes with the cost of the room so no complaints. Super friendly staff and the rooms are a good size.

    A popular and busy hotel!
Warm and friendly welcome. Attentive staff, particularly Daniel (manager), Sandra (kitchen staff) and Selina (desk staff). The Night Duty Manager (Daniel) was extremely nice and engaging.
Unfortunately the bedroom heating was faulty and the room was very cold, outside the hotel was 1° and the room felt much the same. The desk staff listened to our concerns and provided us with extra duvets and a new room as soon as one became available. The stay was so good that we extended our stay the next night . The hotel is in the perfect location for getting around!!

Great hotel just outside city center. 2 min walk from room to train station and 15-20 min ride to downtown Amsterdam. Rooms were decent size, breakfast was good, drinks and pizza as midnight snacks was an added bonus. Also several shops and restaurants right outside

This is an excellent hotel for its value and location. I have stayed here twice now and the rooms are nice and the train station is just across the street. The breakfast is the deal-breaker for 5 stars. There is a full breakfast with a wide variety of food to get you started for the day. I highly recommend staying here if you want a nice time in Amsterdam.

Good choice for everyone who is in business trip. Personal is very nice and pleasant. Beautiful breakfasts with self-made waffles (people really like it and cook them continuously) and English breakfast set (bacon, beans, omelet). Rooms a relatively small and not ideally equipped - no bathrobe and slippers, as well as dental kit. Last you may ask on reception.

Clean, nice room, very comfortable bed, every day cleaning - strong 3 stars hotel. No bathrobe, no slippers, no minibar or fridge, no room service, no even a bottle of water in the room. It you want to eat something, you need to go to the bar outside of the hotel. Train station very close, direct and fast train to the airport.

very bad hotel. Train noise is so loud if not staying with court view. I selected a room far away from the station with courtyard view to be told a higher floor would be better, wrong. 5 nights living in the station or atleast feel like it. One of the worst hotels I have stayed in from Hilton. This is not a Hampton inn. Small gymno amenities. Stay only 1 night if you have to.

I've now been here quite a few times, up to the point the people at reception start to know your name. Always very friendly and accommodating
The rooms are not spartan but still sober, with a nice bathroom. And when relaxing with a book in the lobby in the evening, the bar has a selection of beers and a good "monkey shoulder".
When the weather allows, the place next door has a busy terrace outside.
Overall a nice place for my frequent stays.

Had a great experience. Early check-in was provided since we landed earlier than 3PM. Rooms are well furnished. Breakfast was great.

Breakfast is great, with plenty of choice. The staff is very friendly and ready to help you. The rooms look modern although they can get quite cold and the view isn't anything special. There is no restaurant in the hotel but there are plenty of choices right next to it. The hotel is next to the metro/train station which is great but it's still 15 minutes from the city center by metro. Overall the experience was good for the price and I would recommend if you want an affordable & quality stay.

Great hotel. Very good breakfast. Rooms are comfortable too. Will definitely stay there when I come back to Amsterdam. The hotel is next to Bijlmer station so it's very easy to go to the city center.

Beautiful location But very disappointed with our experience. 1st night- two single beds rather than the double we booked. Couldn't change rooms (and the duty Manager WOULDN'T see us!) so refund for one night given.

Next morning we were given a new room but it hadn't been made up and we were promised this would be done.

13 hours later we returned at 2am and the room had not been made up. The sheets and towels were changed when we complained but the room wasn't cleaned. Another refund given.

On the whole we were terribly let down regardless of the refund. Not recommended if you are looking for a relaxing stay.

I have stayed in the Hampton by Hilton Arena Boulevard many times and it was always a pleasant experience, the staff are just wonderful and are one of the to points for this hotel and being Dutch they are the most helpful and friendly. The hotel itself is in a good location if you don't want to be in the heart of Amsterdam but is still only 15 minutes by tram to Centraal station. I have stayed for events in the Ziggo dome, Amsterdam Areana and the Heineken music hall and these are all within easy walking distance. If you want to shop then Amsterdamse Poort is beside you with a good range of shops and places to eat. The hotel is only 2 stops from Schiphol airport and is only 10 minutes by train from the terminal. Free breakfast is very nice and the waffles are to die for (Whats Amsterdam without a waffle)

Honestly being quite an overrated hotel. Its clean and fresh. Bu when it comes to service, the place is lacking at the least. Speaking of experience where we had ordered a room for three where one of the beds didn't contain any sheets. Took some time to get it up and there where no apology neither any happy service

It appears there are two hotels "Hampton by Hilton" in Amsterdam. But what is very bad, a shuttle from airport comes to one but not to other. The shuttle bus driver, he was polite and friendly, does not alert people about the difference. As a result, he brought us to one "Hampton", where the reception man informed us that we are in not right hotel. Later on he said: other people do the same mistake. They ordered taxi to other one - 60 euro and it took 40 min. While we were waiting for taxi, they offered refreshment drinks. Thanks.
Next morning, after good breakfast in the hotel (our one), we took a train right from the hotel to airport back - 12 euro and it took 12 min.
It was bad experience for us as new guests to Amsterdam :( This bad experience is not about hotels perse (both hotels were superior), but about a miss in organizing guests delivery to their places from Schiphol airport.

I stayed almost every week I was on an assignment in Amsterdam last year. It worked out for me as my office was in walking distance from Bijlmer Arena. Plenty of restaurants nearby for lunch or dinner. Asian Kitchen the best of all. Big cinema, shopping district, national football stadium is all literally within 2 minutes of walk.

Great hotel. Everything was very clean. Staff was really nice and a really good breakfast.

Rooms are nice and comfortable with amazing beds.

Breakfast was also really complete with buffet and is from 7 till 12 and is included.

Will definitely stay there when I come back to Amsterdam.
