Es gibt keine bessere und schönere Unterkunft in Amsterdam, wenn man das Flair dieser Stadt einfangen möchte. So wohnen auch alle Einheimischen, ink. aller "Probleme" die so ein altes Haus mitbringt (schief, steile Treppen, kleine Badezimmer, etc.). Will man moderne 5 Sterne Unterkünfte muss man in ein neu gebautes Hotel gehen, welches aber auch nicht im Zentrum liegt und sehr austauschbar ist.

This is everything I expected and more*. The rooms are very cute (our friends stayed in the other one), and you couldn't possibly eat all the amazing things they set out for breakfast! The owners are generous, flexible, and kind. We found it very conveniently located, and there were many comfortable places to grab a drink or some food nearby. I'm sure Chris could give some wonderful restaurant recommendations. There is a tiny courtyard inside, and some cute (if skittish) cats. (The cats are not allowed into the rooms, I am significantly allergic and had no problems!). *There seems to be some small issues with the bathroom, but they took them seriously and I expect they'll be remedied before the next guests arrive! Accessibility notes: The guestrooms are up tiny, steep, winding stairs, and the various other spaces within the house are up or down a few steps. The bathrooms are very small. (All these challenges fit within the expectations of such a historic home, but I'd prefer to note them.)
