Very nice and homely hostel! It doesn't have a kitchen, but you can get home cooked dinner every evening and a proper breakfast in the morning for a reasonable price. The owner Mark and his family are very helpful and caretaking.

Nice and simple accommodation and authentic Nica home cooked food. All the family are so helpful and friendly. We also used their recommended guide Diego for Maderas. His passion for his country, community and environment was outstanding. Compared to other guides his co-op might be a little more expensive but you pay for quality.

Awesome experience. It's a new hostel, so it won't be glamorous. The beds and rooms are fine, but the real treat is staying with marc, lizzeth and their family. Marc and lizzeth, the owners, are incredibly accomodating and will help you out with whatever your plans are on the island. The make you great home cooked meals if you choose to stay for them instead of going out elsewhere. I can't recommend this place enough. It was my favorite place I stayed during my time in nicaragua.

Stayed here for three nights while on Ometepe. Mark and his lovely family were so welcoming and kind. The food was amazing! $3 breakfast and $6 dinner, very tasty. Mark sorted out a guide for us to hike one of the volcanos and gave us all the information we needed for any activities.
The hostel is still growing and they are still building rooms and beds but the hospitality they showed compensated for the unfinished areas. Clean rooms, clean showers, great location. 100% would recommend.response / report this review -

Had a lovely time here. The owner and his family are very accommodating and hospitable. The wifi is AMAZING. They are connected to the fiber line that runs along the main road. I did video chats here multiple times with no problems. The meals prepared here are delicious and reasonably priced. Very close to Ojo de Agua. Bikes and motorcycles may be rented here to explore the island. Would recommend.

A very quiet family run and owned spot in the middle of Isla Ometepe. The owner was very helpful, informative and friendly. The room, bathrooms and common areas are very clean and well looked after. The food is very good (thanks for the lovely banana pancakes Mama Rosalia) If you're looking for a clean quiet spot away from the crowd this is a great place to explore all Isla Ometepe has to offer. Ask for gia Rafael, for a fun friendly guide to the volcanoes (he climbs both of them twice a week so knows them like the back of his hand!)
