Beautiful pool and just steps away from the beach! Perfect for any type of occasion.

I have mixed feelings on this place. It's a great beach front hotel within walking distance of town and restaurants. We vowed not to return after our stay in November and then we ended up going back in February. The pool area is nice, the staff is friendly, the hotel is clean and the beach is sand. We're too old for the constant bass pounding dance music at the pool so we spend the most time on the beach in the comfortable cabana beds. Bottom line, we've stayed in hotels around the world and we just didn't feel like this one is worth the money.

    DO NOT STAY HERE!

I came here with a group of ladies for my best friend's bachelorette party and we were all EXTREMELY disappointed in their customer service as we felt very unwelcome the whole stay. They put a major damper on the vibe of our weekend and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

They harassed us each time we entered the hotel asking what our names and room numbers were and carried around photos of our passports to make sure we weren't lying. We tried to get breakfast as a group and they threw a FIT in bringing us extra chairs so that we could eat breakfast together (hello, don't you WANT us to spend money at your establishment? Mind blown). They wouldn't let us bring our $4.00 water bottle that we had just purchased from THEIR store into the pool area. They charged us extra money anywhere they could and even when they charged us for a meal we didn't order, it was an hour process to get it removed from our bill.

I literally have nothing good to say about this place besides the view, but you can get that at better establishments who will actually treat you like guests and appreciate your business.

Horrible management, service and overall experience
From the second we pulled up to the hotel, we were greeted by nasty management and employees. We tried bringing in medicine and pedialyte for a friend who has a medical condition and they put up the biggest fight with us stating that we could not bring in anything from the outside. From there, the situation only got worse, they acted as if we were felons and searched our bags every time we tried to go into the pool area. They provide you with water bottles in the room but god forbid you bring it to the pool, you will get kicked out! They try to sell you on EVERYTHING possible from water to a day bed at their pool ( even if you are a guest of the hotel!!!).

I tried drinking out of a tumbler at the pool ( so my drinks would stay cold) and they told me I had to put it away and could only use their cups. Keep in mind, this was not asked of me in a polite manner but rather a demand.

No one who worked at the hotel was friendly or acted as if they were there to serve you. I have never experienced service like this, especially at a "well established" hotel chain. I would not recommend staying here as there are plenty of other hotels that would actually appreciate your business!

The staff are so nice and helpful and the views from the rooms are absolutely beautiful. I need to mention again that the staff could not be nicer or more accommodating. The room was very clean but the furnishings were an odd style. Also the restaurants on the hotel grounds are extremely expensive. My biggest complaintAs soon as we got there we were handed over to a gentleman who gave us a lot of information about town. He was very friendly telling us about good restaurants and places to visit. However it turned out to be a pitch to buy go to a "free breakfast" presentation about Buying a Timeshare. I was so angry! We were tired and just wanted to go to our room. It is not easy to get away from this type of salesman, especially when they have tricked you into a friendly relationship basically by misrepresenting themselves. We turned him down flat though and went to our room. I felt like I had been the victim of a scam. A really bad way to start vacation. The next day we met our concierge, Rafael. He was excellent! We asked him for guidance on the local tours and helped us find what was right for us. As I mentioned previously, the actual staff at the hotel and restaurants were awesome!

Modern upbeat atmosphere, gets quiet at night. Good beach for swimming compared to other resorts in Cabo and close to some great outside restaurants and the marina. Staff was friendly. Upsell oriented for sure but knowing what you want, you will be able to be accomodated.

I will honestly never stay that this hotel ever again. hidden costs EVERYWHERE. They demanded that our friend pay an extra 120 a night because her name wasn't on the room. They stopped her at the lobby and wouldn't even let her put her stuff down. Because we were on different flights, she had to wait hours before anything could be settled. Oh and the rooms we booked didn't even match the rooms on the site!! Bait and switch.

They interrogate you the moment you come back to the property as others said. Because we weren't going somewhere they are partnered with, we had to walk down the drive way off the property to get in a taxi.

The music is insanely loud. All for the party atmosphere but people on the beach behind the speakers should not be able to get a pounding headache. Service at the pool and beach are only good over the weekend when you are buying premium bottle service. Other than that, you feel like to have to hunt people down to get attention.

How often you shout your room number is insane. If they are worried about guest security, let me write it down. Any one could have charged something to my room or found out where I was staying.

Price spectrum is overpriced or comparable to the US. Just not worth it at all.

Beautiful a little vegas for me not good for families because it's an adult hotel. Convenient right on the beach and absolutely beautiful.

Great hotel and great service. The guest experience manager, Julietta, made sure everything was perfect. Fernando is an awesome concierge that will recommend the best places in town!

Nice rooms. Great swim up bar with DJ and poolside drink service. You can totally hang out here all day if you want to spend. Nice beach access too.

Didn't stay, but our group got a patio table attached to the beach. Drinks are pricey for the area, but there also are not many options to grab a beer or drink at. The beach area is pretty and the waves are not too bad right here.

The ME is gorgeous, very safe, and in a great location. At night they check to make sure your name matches with your room (a little extreme) but if you are concerned about security, theirs is top notch. However, you are not allowed to bring ANY drinks or food into the hotel. They even took my bottle of water from me as I was walking inside. I had managed to bring in leftovers from a restaurant and put them in my fridge in my room and when I came back to my hotel room later that day I found my fridge had been locked and the food was out on the counter. I called multiple times for someone to come unlock my fridge and no one ever did. I also had specifically asked for my room not to be cleaned because it was only my second night and would have been a waste so someone came into my room and checked everything without my knowledge.

On my last day, I was sitting by the pool with the group I was staying with and they offered us free drinks to write a good review for them. THEY WROTE FALSE REVIEWS FOR FREE DRINKS. This was smart on management's part and my friends all got free drinks. They had to download some app and either write a good review themselves or give it to the staff to write a review to receive their drink. Don't believe all the reviews you read about this place.

If you are looking to spend a lot of money on food and drinks and hang out at the hotel the whole time, this is definitely a perfect hotel. It was pricey but very very nice with gorgeous views. If you are looking to go out every day and do things, pick another hotel. No use in spending the money if you are not going to be at the hotel the entire time.

The rooms were expensive so we rented a bed for the day instead. There is a requirement to get a bottle of you rent a bed so it does add up but totally worth doing for a day. It is definitely more of a party atmosphere with loud techno music. Chairs/beds/pool are clean and very nice. Service and food were both great.

While we enjoyed our stay in the jacuzzi room, the experience was overshadowed by really intense policies. You pay per guest, not by bed. So any extra guest is $125pp/night and all you really get is a breakfast waiver with the extra guest cost. More importantly, every guest of your room must be registered to enter the hotel after a certain time at night, and otherwise they CANNOT enter. Basically, if you plan on meeting people outside the resort and want to invite them back at night, you will not be able to. The place turns into Fort Knox and incredibly hard to sneak in. This kind of ruined our overall experience because if we went to Vegas we wouldn't have to deal with this kind of crap. Also they charge per person to go to the airport so the more people that come the more expensive - 7ppl for $20 each. Ridiculous

Other than that, resort is very nice. Restaurant food is great (tacos are awesome), pool is nice and view/location is perfect. The pool party vibe is weak. Good music but only really is active on Saturday.

Overall, this place is overpriced and if their guest policy will affect the kind of trip you envision, you may want to stay somewhere else.

I had an awesome time staying at this hotel.
I booked the Aura room, which had double beds, a balcony with a gorgeous view of the pool and beach, and a beautiful shower. There is trance music (EDM) playing from the pool for most of the day, but I didn't find it disruptive. Also note that I stayed during the week. The weekend may be a different story, based on other reviews

The staff was very attentive and went above and beyond to provide good customer service. The waitstaff was the best. They remember you so you don't feel like you're just another guest.

The breakfast buffet is absolutely amazing. The variety, the quality of the food, the service -- all 10/10. The hotel restaurant Blue Marlin Ibiza was also good.

The spa was decent. A bit overpriced, which is expected for a resort. A pedicure that would run you about $40-$50 at most in the US was $75 there. But again, par for the course.

Overall, I absolutely loved it. You won't even feel like leaving the resort. If a swanky, posh, upbeat atmosphere is your thing, then this resort is for you

If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. com Booked this hotel on there and they had the cheapest rates around

This is a wonderful venue for seeing a live DJ or enjoying a pool party. There are two pools which makes it ideal for people who don't want to be stuck in a crowded area. I recommend getting a room pool-side so you can dance and enjoy the scene from the comfort of your own balcony.

Room service is a great way to get food quickly delivered to your room/balcony. The steak nachos are well worth it!

The rooms are very modern and have a premium feel. The bathrooms are very clean and the showers feature a "rain fall" shower head which can be a great way to freshen up after a night of dancing.
