We came back on Friday 4/13/18 from staying at Sandos. I would say the rooms were lovely and the view was amazing! However, the food was not good (need salt on everything) and the drinks were definitely watered down (all10 drinks I had tasted like juice). The service was great. People were sweet. Would I go back to Sandos probably not (based on the food and drinks).

Went for a trip here back in December with my mom and had the best time! We loved it so much we decided to buy a 5 year time share and make it an annual trip. Bernie took amazing care of us as our butler and the other staff were incredibly kind. Our room was updated and absolutely beautiful for just a regular room. Multiple pools all with different atmospheres and a variety of food throughout the week. Make sure to bring a white outfit for the white beach party! Thanks again for the awesome vacation, see you soon Sandos!

I really enjoyed this hotel. The staff couldn't have been better.
It isn't perfect however and while my travel agency said it was a five-star I feel like it's closer to a four-star. The food wasn't bad but wasn't terrific either. The cupcake cafe was a bit of a letdown because the cupcakes were semi-stale and not very flavourful. The lattes were pretty good there though. The rooms were decently cleaned. All in all a good resort and while I'd love to go back again, I wouldn't want to pay 5-star prices.

I loved Sandos because they made us feel like home. The location was great too. We are far enough from the activity to have a peaceful time but also close enough to the party/marina area. Every staff member we encountered took care of us. Thank you especially to Ricardo, Johny and Jose for making our stay enjoyable and fun!

This. Hotel was beautiful! The staff were so friendly and helpful,especially our beach waiter Edgar,who went above and beyond to make our days fun, and especially when he search high and low to get me the white wine I requested.We spent most of our days at pool 3 and would sit in same area just so we could have him as our waiter!The gym was awesome and gorgeous view of the in town marina.Our room 1101 was big and beautiful and our room maid for the week was very good as well.
Loved the food, especially the home made pizzas by our pool!!!
All in all I would definitely recommend this hotel as a must do!!
My only suggestion might be to add one more restaurantmaybe a French one,and locate it up top where you go to receive your time sharing meetingwhich is a waste of time in my opinion!!but the view is spectacular!!
There is no swimming beach at this resort(due to the dangerous rip tides),but a 20-25 min walk will take you to a beautiful beach on the other side of Marina in town.You can walk the beach at the hotel though.

3.5 stars. Never have I ever wished so dearly for a fancy Italian restaurant to instead be a Chevy's. Overall the food is good when Mexican, but disappointing when international. Mediocre mozzarella was made worse when it was advertised as burrata. Only one of four restaurants serves Mexican food, and only at lunch. My feedback - please serve more food from Mexico and Cabo San Lucas. Drinks also were very weak, but enough for food and drinkthough that's the selling point of an all inclusive resort. This resort is beautiful. The views, the architecture, the pools (and swim up bar) were all worth the price of admission. The original 1970s rooms are dated but functional, but the buildings renovated by Sandos meet all expectations of luxury. The location is ideal, within a 5 minute walk of the marina. Overall, the cost may be worth it just for the views and pools, but be ready to head into town for meals.

Nice resort. Mexican food and seafood is good. Other options are just so-so. Poor wine and beer selection. Drinks are hit and miss. Service is great. Events are fun.

Beautiful resort. The staff is amazing, the resort is the cleanest resort I have ever been to. Stunning views of the marina and ocean. The food was great the drinks were even better. Easy walk down to the marina or take the water taxi across the Sea of Cortez to bars and restaurants. I was invited to this resort and I hope to be invited again. Thank you Sandos Finisterra💙

I got married at Sandos Finisterra last week and have nothing but wonderful things to say about this resort and the wedding team. My wedding exceeded all expectations and now I am left with such amazing memories that it feels like a dream! The staff is unbelievable, the resort is gorgeous, the food was delicious, and the entertainment was incredible! I just want to go back asap!

I stayed here in March of 2015 for my sister's wedding. Whenever we ordered room service, we would never receive it. Our safe didn't work much in the room. Our 2 queen sized beds were put together to make one, for 4 people. Once it came time to buy a timeshare, we declined, and from then on the staff was terrible to us. The only people that were nice to us was the lady that cleaned our room, and the people at the swim up bar. One of the worst things about this resort is the ability to swim in the ocean, because you can't swim in the ocean, you can only swim in the pool

We went here for a 50th birthday party. There were 6 of us and we loved the property. The food was really good, the rooms were very nice, the staff was very friendly. The marina across the street was also very fun and felt very safe. We are regular travelers to the Caribbean (been to various islands on at least 15 trips and we all agreed this ranks right up there with the best of them and the price was very reasonable. We will come back!

The photos if this property do not do it justice. Amazing views from every room, restaurant, and pool. The eager staff is courteous and always helpful.
The majority of the food is decent. Definitely not 5 star cuisine, but good enough for an all inclusive resort.
The rooms are clean and well maintained. Though the property is sprawling, their response time to any needs that you might need in your room is quick.
We would definitely recommend the resort to any friends!

I just got back from my stay at Sandos. My boyfriend and I absolutely loved the resort. We had blue wristbands which meant a few things were excluded but it didn't bother us. When you're paying for the all inclusive you're really getting everything and there's no hidden fees. We were greeted by every worker we past by. No complaints about the food, there's definitely a wide variety of places to eat and it's all spread apart which makes you feel almost like you're in a little town and it allows you to explore. The drinks were outstanding and made very well everywhere we went. I highly recommend you to try the drink called "seduction" and Miami vice. This resort is in a prime location only being like a 5-10 minute walking distance to the marina and shops which was awesome. We'll definitely be coming back in the years to come!

The staff is very helpful and kind. Not trying to sell as aggressively as other places, so that's nice. The hot tubs should really be more hot. The view from our room is really nice. Walking distance to the marina and shopping area. Nice variety of things to do. Overall nice place, my first inclusive resort.

Totally disappointed.Time share Time share Time share scam
We paid full price to vacation here and were completely let down by the resort.
They cater only to their "members" and ignore the rest.
We were very respectful and polite and tipped generously at all times and still ignored or made to feel like we were rude?
We were not allowed to use any of the prime spots, no cabanas, banned from certain pools and restaurants and received horrific service because we didn't have the "members" color wristband!
No bottled water in the entire resort whatsoeverin Mexico??
Cheap drinks, liquor and draught beer only with no option to upgrade or even pay for it outright.
No where near enough staff to serve the pools or beach and the staff that are there are run completely of their feet.
Room was small, dirty, uncomfortable and very worn and tired the "Queens" are only doubles.
Room service took forever and was more or less inedible when it finally showed up.
You are set way back off the ocean and it is Pacific side with no swimming on the beach whatsoever
Overall more like a 3 star resort experience at over 5 star plus pricing
All of the good reviews are obviously coming from their time share members
We've been fortunate enough to travel a lot and I have never written a bad review until now, never been so let down with anything like this before
I'm not bitter and seeking revenge just want to let others know the truth
We still managed to have a great vacation with all of our friends and loved Cabo overall

Fantastic staff and a gorgeous resort. My family was very well taken care of including the kids club for my four and a half year old. Extremely clean and well maintained, this resort is close to everything you would want to see and do in Cabo. The food was exceptional, and I would recommend making reservations at the restaurants as the staff were above accommodating and happy to make any changes to the food upon request. I would recommend this resort to anybody with a family or without as it caters to both very well.

They very much try to rope you into a lot. Whether it be these vacation club schemes or what it may be. Resort is nice staff is friendly and amazing. However rooms are less then what I'd expect. Was given wrong room where guests were already staying. Tub doesn't drain, light switches don't work as well, sink doesn't drain. So a little disappointed there.
