We stayed at Las Alcobas for my fiancé's birthday and to celebrate our engagement and it was one of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed in.
When we arrived, the staff greeted us with a birthday cake and card signed by all members of the staff.
The hotel experience just improved from there.
The rooms were luxurious, the food was incredible but the staff was the highlight by far. The staff was courteous, friendly and unbelievably attentive. In addition to giving us a signed card and free bottle of tequila congratulating us on our engagement, the concierge service set us up with ring side tickets to Mexican wrestling and a private Mezcal tasting. The staff also went to the trouble of getting me aspirin at the pharmacy when I wasn't feeling well. Upon departure, the general manager came out to personally thank us for our stay.
I would highly recommend the Las Alcobas hotel to anyone staying in Mexico City!!response / report this review -

What a wonderful hotel in the best district of the city. The room was so comfortablethe shower is the best one I have ever tried. The breakfast outstanding. The staff so attentive and nice. I really LOVED this hotel!

Perfect for business travel or fun getaway. Amazing staff. Great food, great spa. The neighborhood is very quiet, and unto itself, so beware if you need to travel far in crazy Mexico City traffic.

Our favorite hotel in Mexico City. The staff is amazing, the food is amazing, the rooms are plush and comfortable and the bathrooms are large and well appointed. It is centrally located - right by the park, shopping, cafe's, restaurants and beautiful streets if you just like to walk- which we do. We have tried other hotels in the past just to see if perhaps we found something we liked more, but we did not and we love it here and continue to come back here.

We had a wonderful stay here for the last 4 nights. Service is impeccable, location is central. Rooms are well designed. The reason for my 4 star rating because the rooms are small, there is no pool or gym. Highly recommend if those are not an issue.

gorgeous hotel centrally located in the polanco district. superbly appointed rooms supported by a superb staff. efficient remote control lighting and window blind console by the bead. great 7 head shower. beautiful bath featuring a selection of artisanal soaps. loved the bose sound system that connects with audio and the tv. the rooms are wall to wall darkly stained wood which adds a touch off class to the stay. tons of shopping and all of the hot polanco restaurants are mere blocks aways.

Superb location, near shopping, restaurants and nightlife. Honking can be annoying late at night. Staff is friendly, but could use more knowledge when setting up tours.
