The suite is amazing, king bed and sofa bed :D They have transportation from the airport to the hotel but is pricy at $65 dollars. In order to have access to any of the light switches you need to insert your room key in an access point which was not pointed out upon our arrival and required a second trip down to the lobby to inquire about!!

I wanted to like this place. Truly, I did. Unfortunately, their maintenance standards do not meet the qualifications of a five-star hotel. The lobby is beautiful, giving you an impression of hope when you walk in. The rooms, however, are poorly maintained. There was a metal piece sticking out of a mattress (underneath the sheets, at the edge of the bed) that jabbed me a few times. There was an insect infestation (small flying things - see picture) that grew out of control over the course of our stay. Found one in bed on the second night, killed it, and hoped that was the end. Found another one on the third night, too tired to go down and complain. On night four, it was a swarm - kill three, four more appear. We finally went down to ask for another room because I just couldn't sleep there any more.
And that's where the two stars come from - the staff handled the situation well, and offered us an upgrade to a master suite. The master suite was bug-free, and that was all I cared about at that point. Neither the junior suite nor master suite were maintained well. There was chipped paint on the walls, water damage on the ceiling (master suite), paint on glass (master suite), corroded handles (master suite)the list goes on. I also found it annoying that their minibar items and bottles of water were not free. Perhaps I've gotten spoiled, but the last two boutique hotels I stayed in at CDMX had excellent service, unlimited bottles of water, and unlimited free candy/beer/liquor from the minibars.
This was an Expedia booking - if I had to plan our trip again, I'd cough up the extra $150 to stay in one of the boutiques. I ended up paying around $120 for bottled water and two tiny bottles of Jack anyway. I definitely would not stay at this hotel again.

The front desk was very helpful and friendly. The location wss also great and really enjoyed the walking distance to bars and the park. Definitely coming back to stay here

Pros:
1. Location is great.
2. Service and people are excellent.
3. Food is pretty good.
4. Good variety of restaurants.
5. This hotel has the best spa in the whole city (this is actually a verified fact)

Cons:
1. The rooms need to be renovated.
2. Not too much of a modern feel.

Overall, I enjoyed my stay here. It's definitely worth the cost but I wish the rooms were renovated. Small things like changing the lightning and furniture in the rooms can make a huge difference.

The on site dining choices were amazing, varied and delicious. My room was immaculate and comfortable. All the staff was beyond accommodating and friendly. i never once felt like a gringo. everyone treated me so well i will for sure stay at this place next time i'm in town.

Good location for me. Visiting a client a block away. All the workers are nice and great to deal with. Hotel gym is awesome! Rooms are decent size and clean.

They were underfilled after the earthquake and upgraded us to a suite gratis. Only bad part is everyone's English is excellent so my plan for practicing my Spanish was not happening at the hotel. Beautiful rooms with excellent services.

“Top service and location.”
I stayed here for 3 nights. Room was okay (two beds, one more than I needed), not huge but large enough and very acceptable.

The service was far better than most US hotels. They remembered my preferences after just one day. All of the help were pleasant and helpful.

Food I had was also very good. Buffet breakfast was included and I had one dinner on the M level in a bar, cafe setting. The grilled octopus was recommended and was outstanding. I also had room service which was some of the most affordable room service food I've had in a while.

Great location with food, shopping and sights nearby. Very close to our offices. I ate one night on Rio Lerma street, just behind the place where there are many choices within a 10 min walk.

Only downside is this is not part of any major hotel chain, so no miles and no points. It is part of the Leading Hotels of the World group.

Good hotel. Service could be little better. Very friendly staff and waiters. Market Gourmet Cafe serves very delicious food and bar is very nice too. Great place in prime location and close to several attractions.

It is an OK hotel as it is in a central location on Paseo Reforma. I would not choose to stay there as the hotel rooms need to be updated. The Spa is nice. Restaurante Canarios has great Mexican cuisine to try if you cannot make it out of the hotel to explore.

Very friendly staff, great rooms, good food, overall, a great place to stay in Mexico City. While this hotel is rated 5 stars and is part of the Leading Hotels of the World, it has a more relaxed vibe compared to most other 5 star hotels like Four Seasons and St Regis. I actually enjoyed not feeling overly pampered as it made me feel more relaxed. I would definitely go back next time I am in Mexico City.

Old fashioned yet great hotel.
Got free upgrade to a big suite, 80's design but in the a good way.
The spa is amazing and free of charge. The breakfast is great too and include fresh seafood (oysters!!) and sushi.

My only experience was being told that none of the restaurants were open. The service was great in the attention they gave me while i waited for guests to come downstairs and they got me a coffee and a pastry. At least that was very nice. I was just surprised none of the multiple restaurants were serving any food.
