This hotel is very old and the person working at the reception is not nice at all with guests. It's a pity because otherwise it has a nice swimming pool and it's well situated! But I would rather recommend to stay in another hotel, you will find lots of better places around for the same price or even cheaper.

Dorm rooms are ok, a bit too warm and not mosquito shielded but ok. Swimming pool could be cleaner. Nice free coffee and cookies.

Inexpensive, central option. Nice, large rooms with a/c and kitchenette, small pool area is fun for kids. Free wi-fi. Decor is very basic. Good value.

Worst hotel ever!!! DO NOT STAY HERE!!! Bad customer service, dirty, no sheets, they will overprice you, and bugs will bite you while you sleep. Staying the night on the street or in the airport would be better than this place. Definitely don't spend more than 10 dollars a night for this awful hotel. REPEAT DO NOT STAY HERE! IT SUCKED. BUG BEDS FOR SURE!

PS if a Jorge De Grande from Operadora Dora Turistica takes you from the airport hereJUST LEAVE!!

Excellent customer service. There is no elevator though so bringing any luggage to the higher floors is quite the trek.

Owner/Operator took advantage of the fact that Americans were staying by charging more money (even though my wife is Peruvian). I compared by way of the pre-paid reservation, made by our Mexican friend, that they were unable to find initially: They charged me 1/3 more. There was no hot water for a good two hours, as the room's power is turned on when you arrive (hot water heater in room). The room is barely adequate for a one-night stay. If forced to compare, I'd rate it two steps below a Mom and Pop motel in the middle of nowhere in the U.S.A. Definitely NOT good if you have children, unless they're just arrived from a dual-airliner layover and are bone tired. There is an elevator, but it's broken. Otherwise, the rooms seem to be quiet (we did arrive late at night and left first thing on the morning). The one bright positive: The night manager - of his own accord - found the pre-existing reservation after a couple of hours and refunded our (second) payment. I won't stay here next time, and have let our friend know a couple of steps up would be a more suitable room next time we visit, since we have three young children.
