Very nice with lots of room for up to four people. Food is very good as well.
Road at the entrance of hotel is broken. Staff is very good. Rooms need renovation. Would recommend if the road in front is fixed.
Lovely large suite. However, the interiors are a bit old even though comfortable. The staff is friendly!
Large rooms, so large you won't run out of space easily. There's a mini fridge but it's empty so you'll have to purchase your own stuff in the stores nearby. If you get one of the front-facing rooms, you'll get a balcony. Stayed for 3 nights and was pretty satisfied with my stay at Suites Amberes. Definitely my choice next time I'm visiting Mexico City.
The personal attention to customer service with a friendly attitude to help in any way went beyond my expectations. Example: I just asked a question to the hotel manager about a specific purchase and he walked me himself two blocks away to a store and personally helped me pick out my purchase.
Dated, friendly staff.. Building needs refurbishment
The location is amazing, the rooms are massive and comfortable, the staff is super friendly, and the breakfast is delicious. The beds is definitely on the firm side of things but still comfortable.
I loved this hotel. Very big rooms and a great location - but - they do not allow guests to visit?
They charged my and my roommate for guests we invited over for a few drinks I found this strange
Excellent for the most part. Stayed in the queen/double room. Clean rooms but showing some age in parts. Each room has a dedicated wifi access point. Internet was sufficient. Beautiful table setting upon arrival. Multiple light bulbs out throughout the room. Ironing board was terrible but iron itself fine. Housekeeping did a great job everyday.
Can hear the neighboring bars and clubs late at night depending on which rooms you are in but it honestly wasn't loud enough to keep any of us awake. Also we stayed during Day of the Dead so take that into consideration.
Front desk and bellhop were quite helpful though 50-75% of the time they were not bilingual. Chocolates offered at desk and put in rooms everyday, delicious. Laundry service but doesn't run on weekends which was a rough for us coming in on Sunday. Breakfast is free and you receive tickets to take to the restaurant. Service was great as was the food minus the French Toast. You are first served a plate of fresh fruit (2 types of melon and papaya), coffee, and a glass of fresh squeezed juice. Please tip these people even though its free food.
Rooftop terrace and gym are nothing exceptional but do exist. Location is good with multiple shops, bars, restaurants, and metro hub nearby. I believe its worth the money considering everything, just don't think you are getting 4.5 to 5 star service.
Although the building is old, it is clean and the service is very good. The Internet signal in the suites is remarkable compared to many other hotels.
I love so much hotel suites amberes!
