Clean and modern, what this hotel lacks in character it makes up for in convenience. If you are attending an event at La Toscana, it is just 2 min across the road. There is also a 24hr grocery store, laundry shop, pharmacy and taqueria in the same strip mall. The hotel is outside the main town, but Guanajuato is small so an Uber/taxi ride into Centro is about 10min and cheap. There are fridges and microwave ovens in each room if you like snacking on your own, but if you are a business traveler, be aware that the WiFi is extremely slow and unreliable unless you are sitting in the lobby or small business center.

I kinda screwed up when I reserved, think I somehow got my hotels confused and booked this one by mistake. So, after the crazy trail Google gave me to get here, I already had negative feelings towards the hotel, but I can't blame them for my error. I at least got to see how my car could handle steep narrow streets. Couldn't cancel the reservation cause they'd charge me anyway on the credit card.
The hotel is far from the center of Guanajuato, so if you are planning on being able to stroll out and be in the heart of the city, look else where. They stuck us on the bottom floor and the room doesnt even have a window, was at least looking forward to having a view of Guanajuato, I mean, if I'm going to be up a mountain, might at least make the most of it. So this is really the only justifiable thing I can complain about. So far, it feels over priced compared to other hotels, breakfast isn't included! If I nitpick, The room is kinda basic with cheap and worn furnishings.
On the positive side, the staff are nice and friendly and as far as location, if you came to do some exercise, then the walk downtown is pleasant. It's clean enough. It's a suite and there's a super market near by, so if you are here for business i guess this would be a good option. The kitchen just has a fridge, microwave and a coffee machine though, so you won't be able to cook anything (except microwave). Despite the bed creaking, it's quite comfortable and I had a great night 's sleep although I think I was quite tired after all the walking ;D.
So I'll give it 2/5 mainly because they stuck me in a room with no window for 900 pesos a night and no breakfast. There's only one garbage can, no cutlery or plates in the 'suite.'response / report this review -

Goods for overnight stay. Rooms are very spacious and restaurant's food is not bad. WiFi service is really slow though.

The rooms are good, cleanness is also good and the food is also good. What I didn't like is the parking lot and the external facade. They should improve it.
