The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are very nicely done. The hotel front desk workers were so helpful and kindly watched my bags while I wandered around Guanajuato. The only bad things were that my AC didn't ever get below 24°C and my shower didn't drain. Those weren't so bad I would definitely stay here again. Right in the middle of town :-)

A wonderful boutique hotel. Each room is unique. The roof top bar is lacking. However, the view is spectacular!

Stayed for a wedding and they did their best to accommodate within a century old building. They were attentive, nice and overall a pleasurable experience.
They have a lot of room to improve too. Internet is quite slow although free, can't drink the local water, and other small details. Buy the location, design, and everything else was spectacular.response / report this review -

Attentive staff, central location, and quiet rooms. However, pick another place if you want to take a solid hot shower or do anything productive on your laptop.

Excellent place, bar One atop hotel 1850 is one of the most beautiful places to be in downtown Guanajuato, its view is amazing, the personnel is very polite and helpful. Ruben the manager was awesome helping us out with our experience there.

Each room is unique with its own theme. It's located in front of a plaza, and next to a restaurant with delicious food. The view from their bar is amazing. The staff is more than helpful.

Great service. Well kept. Perfect location. Only troubles are we heard construction at night and the hot water is used up quickly.

Rooms were nice with everything you would really need. Location is unbeatable as it is right in the center of town. However no parking so you have to call the hotel when you get near by and someone will valet your car to their parking lot.

Charming boutique hotel right on the jardin. My room (Renata) was very comfortable and quiet. Staff is bilingual and very friendly. Recommend.
