Flamingo Cancun is a smaller all resort with an all-inclusive option. We purchased a vacation club there about 6 years ago and have vacationed there 3 times. Staff is friendly and helpful and the facility while older, is well cared for & very clean. Food in general is good, not a a lot of variety, but they've added a pizza restaurant near the upper pool which is excellent and was always busy.
They have fabulous beach front. Would recommend as a decent quality economical vacation.

Was here 3 weeks ago enjoyed so much booked another trip same resort before I even made it home. Great calm environment. If you want to party or meet young ppl try hard rock it's about 1.3km down the beach. Lots of live music there. This hotel is quiet not very busy. Decent food . Incredible staff

It's not all inclusive. Has a beautiful beach front but I wouldn't waste money on getting all inclusive. They charge you for canned beer. Top shelf alcohol you need to buy. Mini fridge was empty and they don't stock it up. In conclusion don't waste your money at the Flamingo if you want an all inclusive vacation.

Great hotel, has everything you want without a 10 minute walk to get there. Beach is amazing, staff are so helpful and friendly, food was great. The roasted fish fillet and filet mignon at the Albatross were perfect. Wood fired pizzas are great.

You can get to all the main tourist attractions within minutes.

Rooms and facilities were spotless, the staff work very hard to keep everything perfect.

Massage spa on the beach was amazing, great way to relax with a massage listening to the sounds of the surf.

It was out first time to Cancun. Very pleased with our experience. Our room was very nice and comfortable. We had a jr swim up suit. It was very private and the service was great. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Beach was amazing. Just steps away from our room. Very fast and easy check in and out. Our stay was a wonderful experience and would definitely stay again.

The food was ok. The bartenders were awesome. The hotel staff weren't too friendly, and they respond hours after a request.

I loved this place! Staff is super friendly, kind and respectful. The hotel is older and might need some upgrade but overall very satisfied stay. It's right on the beach, has multiple pools, resturants. All inclusive.

The hotel is near some restaurants and right in front of an old and empty mall. The food at the restaurants isn't that great but it's pricey. Rooms are clean and everyone is really friendly and helpful. The WiFi is free but it isn't great. Overall great but would avoid eating at the hotel.

Beautiful hotel very nice environment and beach is amazing. Just be cautious of waves some seasons it can get rough. Other than that food is pretty good at buffet. although the restarunt gives small portions but the pools are nice and if you get all inclusive you can get as many drinks as you want.

When I first came into the hotel, the receptionist was pretty kind and helpful. The hotel has its own beach and an all indluded feature, the food in the restaurants is pretty good and the bar has a great bartender.

Spent seven nights at this resort for a family vacation with my wife and in-laws. When arriving the staff tried to up sell us a beach front view room for what we deemed too much. When we refused they dropped the price and we were able to haggle for a much better amount. The room itself did have an amazing view of the ocean and beach which was about 50 ft away. I disliked the tiled floor because as much as we tried to keep our shoes clean we inevitably tracked sand, lots of sand, into the room. Our first night we had an issue with the toilet getting clogged and causing a bit of a mess in the bathroom - after calling the front desk about the problem they sent someone to fix the issue and clean our bathroom very quickly. I considered it to be inconvenient but handled fairly well by the hotel staff. Room cleaning was consistently on schedule when we asked for the service, but it was just normal upkeep - nothing special. One big issue is that only the lower areas such as the lobby, restaurant and pool have access to WiFi - if you're situated close to those areas then you may get a weak signal in your room but it's pretty useless for things like streaming Netflix. The pool itself is is pretty clean and features and basking island and swim up bar, however, it's usually filled with kids during most times of the day. I had a bad experience the one day I tried to swim in the pool where I started feeling a strong burning in my eyes - I'm not sure if it was caused by high chlorine content in the water or if sunblock was washing into my eyes. Regardless, I didn't find it to be particularly enjoyable so I didn't go in for the remainder of our stay. There is a gym located on the 3rd floor which houses 1 treadmill, 2 beat up stationary bikes, 2 broken weight benches and a good selection of rusty weights. Make sure you're current on your tetanus shots if you intend to use the equipment. The restaurant that I mentioned is buffet style and is open from 7am to 9pm and offers a pretty good selection for breakfast which I considered it to be a fairly good value. The saving grace for this hotel is the beach. It is very clean and they offer many bungalows to lounge under during all times of the day. There is a lifeguard on duty from early morning until 6pm. It was easily the best feature the Flamingo had to offer - which is to be expected from a beach front hotel. With exception of one or two days, we didn't really spend too much time at the resort because we were out exploring the surrounding city or on one of the many tours that Cancun has to offer, however, I can say that we were able to access our rooms easily during all times of day and there wasn't a time where we felt a lack of security on the premises. I hope the staff has a chance to review my comments to consider making some changes to their facilities. Overall we were satisfied with our stay at the Flamingo.

Great location in the middle of Cancun's Hotel Zone, right on the beach and close to shopping and restaurants. The rooms are comfortable and the ones we stayed in had a private pool right outside the patio door. The food and drinks are okay.

You certainly get what you pay for.
.. most employees were friendly but the liquor is very low end and the food bordered on aweful. Pay a little more and stay at a better all inclusive..the pool and the beach are nice.tip well and get treated a little better at the bar. learning to use the buses is a good trick to get to town and to other cities knowing some spanish would be handy, as is being street wary of the very pushy vendors.

Great beach location and views. Decent pools and cool swim up bar. On site food is pretty bland and drinks were average. Rooms are clean but just average but the Hot water doesn't get very hot. Overall, not spectacular about this hotel which is more hotel than resort.

It is a beautiful and not so big hotel in the hotels zone. The pool is kind of small, but comfortable. Beach access is very good. You can get a massage near the ocean. The hotel has an excellent sea turtles rescue program.
