No dolphin deserves captivity, being a toy for people's entertainment - they must be wild and free!!! You know they suffer a lot to get to these tanks/pools and suffer from illnesses there and die early. Shame on people doing this business and people who supports with their money!! I am happy I didn't book the hotel next to this place - my vacation would be ruined :-(

An amazing experience with professional handlers. The dorsal ride was incredible.

Staff was friendly and generous. We had 2 dolphins to play with.

The instructors showed us the sign language to use for speak, dance/twirl, show teeth/open mouth, and swam circles around us to show speed and power.

As one person was doing the trick with dolphin, the other person had 1-1 time of petting nose, rubbing head and belly.

The dolphin allowed us to grab dorsal fin and swim was exhilarating, and then having both dolphins swim behind to push on your feet up in the air to fly.well, I have no words to explain. I screamed with glee. The finale was having a dolphins jump over us while in water. Perfect picture!!

Pics are way too over priced. Company would sell much more if dropped price from $300+. Companies need to remember we do want pics, BUT MORE we want the experience. We already paid a hefty price for that memory.

I hadn't reviewed a hotel in a very long time other than an occasional trip advisor - until i had such a bad experience at Delphinus. Rude staff, overpriced and very dated. I highly recommend avoiding this hotel.

Do the trainer for a day program! My wife and I came here on our honeymoon and it was amazing! We got a free shirt and wonderful pictures with it. One thing I will suggest is that since there is a lot of standing knee-high in water and you're standing in the sun all day, wear a full shirt and hat when you go and then when you are about to get in the water with the dolphins just take the hat off and put next to the pool. I made the mistake of wearing a tank top and no hat and since you are not allowed to wear sunscreen around the dolphins, I got a terrible sunburn. Over all, my wife and I were VERY happy with the program, the wonderful staff, and the phenomenal dolphins! Thank you so much for the memories!🐬

Three of us loved swimming with the dolphins but my life jacket did not fit properly and half the time I was falling forward and trying to stay upright. My biggest complaint is the gouging for pictures. Family is not allowed to take pictures and even from afar the photographers block the scene for those with long range lenses. Each and every picture including small ones is $39. I bought nothing because I thought it was outrageous. If they would let you take your own shots then I would be more apt to buy one of theirs. Even if they had a package deal where you got so many pictures for $50 that would be acceptable. Dolphins are great!. Everything else was a rip off. Since we had to pay $99 apiece for the less than 1 hour experience they should at least thrown in one picture.

This is a photo opportunity scam. Everything you do, you do so they can take pictures. Then they want to charge you $39 per picture, or $200+ for all of them. They won't work with you on the price (I offered to pay $40 for two pictures). I wanted at least a little memory of my experience but they care more about money than their customers happiness. They preach to you on how to take care of the planet, all while trying to rip you off. Very bad experience overall. Would recommend going elsewhere.

We had the time of our lives at delphinus Cancun. Right from the start, it was easy to find and the process was not rushed at all. We did the couples dream and it was one of the best choices we could have made for our trip. Our trainer Nina was so nice and the dolphins were so cool. There were 5 dolphins when we did our swim and some of the other dolphins would come up to us to say hi. They're truly magnificent creatures and we had so much fun. Thank you Delphinis Punta Cancun!!

Strongly would NOT recommend this place for your swim with the dolphins experience. They would surprise you with many rules and rude staff right as you walk in. They would try to sell you photos and videos that are poorly taken for several hundred dollars and would refuse for you to take any pics of you request to. They would blame it on the safety of the animals while other people are all around the swim area taking pics. You can bargen the price down a lot. Would not recommend this place. Check other options. Very unhappy with this.

Overall, 5 stars. Finding the ticket office is a little tricky. We got there super early and the Hyatt guy told me the shaded area where I was trying to find my phone was for hotel guests only. Whatever. All beaches in cancun are public do we found chairs and umbrellas on the beach. The Hyatt guy didn't say a word to us there. Did the couples swim. A once in a lifetime experience. The preparation staff made me feel a little rushed. The time in the water with the dolphins was amazing. They are so worried about pictures it felt a little paparazzi at times but Chiquila the dolphin was awesome. The guy selling the pictures was rushing us as well and didn't explain the options. I warned my husband that he was going to have to buy a $30 picture but it was $40. Overall it was worth it.
