The staff is very nice however need more language training. Staff can't communicate with not knowing the language.

I have to say. Hidden Beach was a major disappointment. It is NOT a five star resort. It is more like motel 6.
1. The service is very slow. They are very friendly but when you eat all of your breakfast waiting for water - that is a problem.
2. The massage therapists troll around like hookers looking for Johns. It was annoying to say the least to have to say NO 20 times in one morning. I finally said yes - asked her to massage ankles as they are often sore and to not massage back as I don’t like it. Absolutely no massage if ankles and went due. My back 3 times.
3. The food portions were very small. I understand gourmet but not the petite portions.
4. At 5 pm they collected all the towels from the pool making it very clear it was now time to move to dinner then bed promptly at 10.
5. One night there was no water - the shower grout looked like it was painted in with a magic marker and the railing on my bridge from the swim up
Room was about to fall apart. Various tiles through the pool were chipped or missing. And when I fell the very first day I was there not even one staff member asked how I was. All were too busy forgetting to bring the water!! My bed was only turned down one night. A d that night they left the closet light on and I could not find the switch so I didn’t half the night wide awake.
6. The jets in my tub were stuck pointing up. A fact I did not notice until they had flooded the room. From that point forward I was afraid to use the tub , the rugs were never replaced, and the phone never worked.
7. The remote to the ac died - the safe had to be reprogrammed and one night there was a horrible crash of glass shattering but the next morning no one knew anything about it.
8. The only two white wines are ones I don’t like. I thought all inclusive covered all wines but I soon found out that it was extra to have the one I wanted.
A horrible disappointment all the way around. I only get a chance to take a vacation once every 5-6 years. So Very disappointed!response / report this review -

5 star service , set on its own private beach which offers great snorkelling. The grounds are beautifully maintained and wildlife is taken into consideration.
There are a huge amount of dedicated friendly staff who will do anything for you with genuine enthusiasm.

Great place to get naked. All inclusive, food food and service. Not a swinger place but if you look you can find other like minded couples.

We stayed at this lovely hotel, We was staying next door and transferred and so glad we did. Lovely small friendly and a real genuine welcome 5 star service..

Staff makes this place the best, 4th time back and booked again for next May, the guest are also fun, this is a clothing optional resort not a swinger resort, the people that get a day pass from next door in the coming back day after day or if there is room moving over to this Resort from the snobby side.

We have just returned form 7 wonderful nights a Hidden Beach. I have reviewed HBR before but I want to bring a bit more light to a few areas that are often left out. First of all as we arrive we are greeted by name by every single member of the staff. I hesitate to refer to them as staff because they are more like family.
All of the restaurants are all top notch the one that stands out the most of the 9 is Klay Talay Asian Fusion, My partner Pam must be Gluten free and they were able to accommodate with a great selection. Just a note all the restaurants asked us at the host stand if we had any dietary needs and all were able to accommodate.
The most over looked staff in this resort is housekeeping, my little sisters, Rosy, Angelica, and Blanca. These ladies work very hard and our room is always fantastic, they really do look for all the details and the towel origami animals are Pam’s favorite.
The entertainment staff headed by Aldo and run by Adrian is great. These guys are always happy, and go out of their way to make everyone feel comfortable. They seem to have a unique ability to pull people out of their shell and truly have a wonderful time.
The bar staff are the best. Form Alberto, Esparanza, Pedro, and Gilberto. All the liquors are top self and the service is never ending.
Last but not least the leader/director of this place that we like to call home is America and her partner in excellence Alexandra. These two women do so much for all of us. It is not uncommon to find America Helping the Housekeepers on busy turnover days or Alexandra running around the pool helping with umbrellas or going off to find a special news paper for a guest that they did not have. I believe that there is nothing these two beautiful ladies would not do for the staff or the guest.response / report this review -

We thought Hidden Beach was the ideal place to relax and recharge. We stayed for 4 night on Valentines Day and loved it. We relaxed in a beach bed by day. The waiters could not do enough for us.
We enjoyed the Gourmet dining included at the adjacent El Dorado Sea Side suites, the mezcal bar was like our secret weapon for crazy fun. The Italian and gastro pub restruants were 5 star.
The special Hidden Beach spa day was also fantastic. We loved the mud bath!response / report this review
