Very friendly staff especially at reception upon arrival. All made us feel welcome. Wonderful experience and food. Beautiful venue and comfortable rooms. Enjoyed our stay a lot.

It is a beautiful resort on a peninsula in the north of Mauritius close to Grandbay (little town). You can catch the bus, get a scooter or taxi to get there. Lots to do at the resort, ski, beautiful snorkeling right infront of the hotel. Scuba, paragliding, catamaran and speedboat excursions. The food is out of this world. Rooms are very beautiful and comfortable. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I would suggest having a shuttle service to town. They might improve by having beachservice (drinks) served for the guests. They accommodate greatly for children although I would suggest them allocating a private beach area for ladies that want to tan topless (that is not very child friendly). Overall a wonderfull family atmosphere and you wont be dissappointed. They have a beautiful spa. Would highly recommend this resort.

I personally liked the place Really friendly staff , kids entertainment a thumbs up xxx sadly though I feel that the Food served here can be done a lot better more flavorful tasteful food would have totally given 5 stars

Just returned home from a great honeymoon We had a splendid holiday from the very funny welcoming potter 🤣🤣 🤣, to an almost one-on-one waiter (esp Kattee) and all the waiters who were assigned to tables we mostly sat at the food was great, the inclusive water activities were mind blowing for a bigginer, the beach 👌👌👌 , the room also on point, the late entertainment on point too even though me and my wife didn't understand a word of French , Creole but we had fun and sang along.

We managed to also go to town (Grand baie) and also a road trip to the south with a very funny ,Jackof all trades tour guide by the name of Steeve 😂👌.

Couldn't have dreamed of a better honeymoon! The staff here not only took care of our every need but did so with a huge smile on their faces! They went out of their way to ensure that our vegetarian diet was catered to at all times! The facilities were Supreme and one feels like royalty from the minute one steps into this paradise! Gratitude to Rachel, Kushal, Vivek, Tanweer and the rest of the Cannonier family! YOU were the difference! Looking forward to our next visit! You cannot go wrong if you book this place for your next vacay!

Excellent stay, sadly too short -just a day and a half between cruise and flight home. Great location, comfortable room,friendly staff. Would love to come back.

Service was acceptable but far from excellent. Had several issues such as aircon not working having to move rooms several times. Can only get snorkel gear going out with lodge which is often fully booked which is very frustrating. Renovations going on which is quite distracting

Great hotel, also for families with (little) children. Freshly renovated and beautifully decorated hotel with very friendly, helpful and competent staff. The beach is beautiful, the food is delicious and our room was very tidy, nicely decorated and spacious (with babybed). We would like to go back there immediately.

Absolutely loved our time at Canonnier. We decided to get married there, and was blown away by how well it was organised. Staff are all amazing and very friendly. Food is perfect and regular, you do walk away with a few extra kilo's around your waist when you leave. Would def. go there again. Mauritius offers allot to do. So we will be back to explore more.

Absolutely beautiful. The facilities at this resort is first class. The personnel seems to be a bit up tight, but if I look at the security I guess there is a reason for it. Worth a visit.

My first time in Mauritius and an impeccable hotel to stay at. The activities on offer cater for everyone from the adventurous to those looking to relax. The staff is very helpful and accommodating of questions and will assist in making changes to plans if the weather acts up. Definitely returning there soon!
The only areas I'd flag are the WiFi and occasionally rude staff members. But even those weren't enough to ruin a good trip and hotel.

Went for honeymoon and had a fantastic time. Fantastic service. Amazing food and a wide selection to actor for any preference. Relaxing theme. Awesome cocktails. Great tanning beaches. More than enough activities on offer. Good walking distance from great market town. Only problem is going for dip in the see as its a tad rocky but managed just fine going in to cool off.
