I would not recommend this hotel. Internet ONLY in lobby and I mean step out and it's gone, seaside - you have to walk and it's DIRTY, and rocky. This kind of beach you'd expect from Turkey not from Mauritius. Noisy. Poor aircon. Food very average. Drinks bad. Staff look like they are lost.

Awesome place for honeymooners and families. have own beach and water activities, but wifi is only available at some place. food need to be improved as there is no more options for indian food. there is weekly program of local songs and dance. have swimming pool, mini bar, towel for beach. there is money exchange office near by at 5 min walking distance. no convinient store near by that is little bit annoying. but over all experience is amazing

For Indians definitely not a good place, food served here is 2 out of 10. No special delicacies for vegetarians. Rooms are ok ok I would rate them 5 out of 10 on my personal experience.
People who travelled along with me suggested that the only hotel where good Indian food served is Le Meridien.

Horrible service. Didn’t receive a single wake up call that we asked for. They don’t even provide a single water bottle on arrived. We received noting that was stated on our hotel voucher.

Staff not co operative. No drinks served or allowed on beach. Only 2 tennis racquets available. Treadmill out of order in gym. No aircon in gym. None of advertised activities e.g. aqua gym sessions, waterpolo, etc happened. Variety of food not great compared to other hotels in Mauritius. Hotel and restaurant managers unfriendly. Rooms were nice. Food was tasty, but lacked variety. There are much better value for money in Mauritius.

Peaceful, relaxing hotel. Good food, lovely helpful staff. Excellent location short walk to beaches (Mont Choisy is gorgeous) and pretty walk into trou aux biches. Good bus service and plenty of taxis. Rooms are spacious we are in a deluxe and have everything you need including wifi and toiletries. Can see painting in progress where needed. Wonderful little gem of a hotel. Please. P.S. we even love the frog lullaby

The resort looks good, they have two outdoor pools and they give free coupons for water sports. The beach is across the road. The good bit pretty much ends there.

The room was fine. The AC was old, the vent directly on my side of the bed. But they fixed it. Bathroom has two small soaps and one fixed dispenser that is both bath gel and shampoo.

The staff is untrained, unprofessional and many outright rude, and that even before you have opened your mouth! On the last day I was taking my luggage out and the attendant was barking at me, even before I said anything! The check-out time is 11.00 am. The restaurant manager is good at avoiding eye contact, forget about greeting. There is another one who is friendly. The lady at the egg counter is friendly.

The food is indifferent in spite of having an Indian Chef. Paneer is probably from milk power, it is so hard. For all 6 days there was one juice at breakfast, orange! The dinner buffet is insipid, a torture in the end. For 6 days the 'papad' didn't vary, not even once. Rotis are made from maida (refined flour) and everything tastes just bland.

They give two free pizaa per room once during your stay. We had two rooms. We ate the pizzas once and never went back for the second room's coupons, they put eggplant in pizza and seems like Haldi (turmeric) as well.

Make sure to know what is included in the packet before booking, for us the tea sachets in the room were chargeable as well! They give you a jug of water to carry back to your room, which is fine by me, but for some this may be a surprise too!

The place has a nice look and potential. But till they improve their food and service I would say find something else.

And do notice how many excellent reviews here as well as on Tripadvisor are just one line long! I wonder what is up with that!

Very bad service rude people and a very un cooperative staff I say this because since we are staying here we have been shocked seeing the people and service out here this resort has no facilities it has spoilt my image about Mauritius this is the most horrifying place I have ever seen more like a self service centre I had come to spend my holidays here in Mauritius but this has spoilt my holidays please never eat the food of the buffet out here as it is disgusting on the name of indian cuisine it is a shame simple india dishes like Dal and gajar ka halwa are made so badly that u can't eat it even u have to take your food and water your self the standard of the food making here is to low if u are given the package with this resort please never take it they take high money from you but do nothing even the WiFi and water service not avaliable in the room also in
Their room u have spiders in the room and lizards on your dressing table etc the house keeping here is also rude they may come any time like 5 in the Morning or 7:30 in the night I want to give this a 0 star but that option is not avaliable now Please Please Please !!!!!!! Never come here

Excellent place to stay at. The quality and variety of the food was great. Awsome swimmingpools and great views over their beautyful gardens another benifit of staying here was that the beach was about 30 meter walk.

Went there exclusively for the Spa and lunch. Good food, amazing and very private spa experience. Really enjoyed the water sports as well. However there's room for improvement with their customer service.

Well I stayed there from 9th July to 15th July 2016. My stay was pleasant and had a good experience. Overall it was satisfactory. Please do take time and try the coupons they give compimentary. Boat House coupons are a must. Now for pros and cons as per my observations.
    PROS:-
    1) very friendly and polite staff willing to help regardless of time and situation
2)The rooms and the resot is clean and very well maintained.
    3) The Pools are nice and clean as well as the beach.
    4) The buffeys for Dinner and Breakfast was quite good and had a variety of dishes. You can even ask Indian dishes directly to the staff and they will provide.
    5) They can provide may tour and travel guidance.
    6) The house keeping team under MR Rajesh is excellent and high praise worthy.

    CONS:-
    1) you have to get your own water from the resturant in open jugs with max 1 jug per persons which was very problematic and troublesome esp when you have a child.
    2) I felt a slight over friendlyness towards Europeans and little neglet towards South Asians but not racist in any way.
    3) Be careful and ask clearly what is included in the buffey as you may get a direct insult from the manager if you are unaware and take cold drinks or juice during dinner and not that included in your package.
