We had a fantastic ten day stay celebrating a special birthday with all the family of all ages. The attention and service we experienced was second to none and much appreciated. We would not stay anywhere else in Mauritius and hope to return in the not too distant future

We love the Oberoi. I've stayed four times. The food is excellent, the rooms are great, even the basic level. The best thing is the service, which is always top notch. I've stayed in all the top hotels in Mauritius and Oberoi beats them on all counts. The Four Seasons is usually much more expensive but still has worse food and service than the Oberoi. St Regis has a great location but service and food can't compare. Special mention must go to the head gardener because the grounds are immaculate and really wonderful to walk around. The beach is small, but always quite and peaceful and it's the perfect place to relax. We liked it so much that we intend to visit more Oberoi properties around the world and definitely come back a few more times to the Mauritius Oberoi.

Fabulous setting, beautiful views and brilliant staff. Food and drinks prices ludicrous though- about 5 times higher than good tourist orientated places outside the hotel. Not much incentive to eat and drink here

Possibly one of the best hotels in the world! Service is more than outstanding, the staff go out of their way to make you feel as if Mauritius is your second home. The food is great, with a lovely variety for breakfast and dinner. I've been twice now in less than 6 months and it's truly been a wonderful experience both time. A must go if your visiting Mauritius. PS the massages at the spa are incredible, feel asleep twice during the Indian head massage. Heaven on earth!
