Cultural dance show is ok but you need to have front seats as no stair chair setting, it's all dining tables at same height floor, food is pethatic, nothing for vegetarion, so go their post having you stomach full as show lasts around 2 hours

It has a very nice restaurant, in which some couples conduct their wedding reception.
The photographers also like the place because of the view of Karaweik barge.

Quite boring.
You got to be careful overhead when walking to this Restaurent as there many crows resting on the tree & the droppings may hit you.
Entrance fee at the gate to the park is 6,000 kyat per pax where the restaurant is located there & the show + the buffet dinner is US29/pax on walk in

It was notorious buffet menu in Yangon few years ago. But it was changed. The quality of food improved now. If it is the first time to visit in Myanmar I recommend it.

Nice place to have dinner and to see cultural show. Pretty impressive traditional dancing by beautiful young girls and men. Dinner is good have lot of choices. Price is about $30 for show and dinner. Show start 6.30pm. Placw open 6 pm. If you go arround 6 pm there can shot few scenic photoes of sweda gon pagoda and near by lake. Architecture of this restaurant is impressive too.

The performance was good but I dislike buffet dinner. The food had wide variety including Japanese, Western, Thai food but food was not really fresh! I disagree with the buffet because it produces a lot of food waste especially in Myanmar , a poor country. When I left the restaurant, I saw some dishes remained untouched. They seemed to prepare food for 200 people but finally just 50 guests. I'd rather they provide simple but authentic Burmese cuisine, better than become a waste producer!

First time returning to Burma since birth and this definitely was the right choice for dinner. The details of Burmese architect was unremarkable inside and out. The performance throughout dinner included popular Burmese folk tales that my grandparents and parents used to tell us as bedtime stories. The food was needless to say aimed to please tourists without lacking traditional Burmese spices. It wasn't too greasy nor salty. Dinner menu included popular Burmese cuisine: fish noodle soup, Shan's noodle, chicken coconut noodle soup, veggie stir fry, and Burmese deserts. The staff was courteous and very attentive. Perhaps too nice to lay down some ground rules for the customers. The only reason I gave 4 stars is due to the fact that a tourist group particularly from China were not only rude to stand to take frequent group photos while blocking the view of other dinning customers, they continued to speak loudly across the room. I personally asked the staff to ask them as a courtesy reminder however the staff only address the issue and was far too polite. The fact that I paid $45 per person like everyone else in the room, I deserve to enjoy the performance without having to dodge between heads or bodies to see the show. The staff need to lay down some ground rules to ensure customers are courteous to each other who also paid to enjoy the dinner. The staff needs to understand that while they gain customers from large tourist groups, they will also lose some individual families who simply wants to enjoy dinner if they don't handle situation as such more effectively.
