This is a disaster of the hotel. Checked 3 rooms, all had a mould all over bathroom, aircondioning didn't work, smell of smoke mixed with mold. Bedding is stained, very unhygienic. As we have booked rooms for 10 people and long period of time I have asked staff to clean and sort out the rooms, they didn't care at all. AVOID THIS HOTEL. THE WORST IN THE AREA

The best hotel what I have tried in Morocco. The food is super nice, there is a wide range of food. The rooms are big and clean, but once we had bad experience about that. The service in the restaurant is not the best one, we have to wait for clean cutlery or plates every time. If you have the chance you should ask for room with pool view. Its really nice in the evening and more quiter. The airport is only a few minutes by car and the Medina is close too

Don't stay here. The staff was very rude and and the wifi didn't work. The whole vibe of the place is just off. I don't think the hotel treats it's workers well, they were all very irritable.

Below average hotel. Stayed here as part of a tour. WiFi does not work. Rooms run down. Shower would not drain. Breakfast was ok but not enough staff on so tables regularly left dirty. And staff very rude, not helpful at all. Would not stay here by choice.

Wow! What a disappointment on our behalf. No way near a 4*!! More like a 3*! We did have a few problems here, but I'll write about the biggest problem I had. After the second day being at the hotel, we went to have our breakfast. I put a few selections of food on my plate and went to sit at my table to enjoy. Took a bite from the meatball and ouch! bit into something really hard and solid. Took the food out of my mouth and to my surprise i found a piece of broken glass!!!! Wow! Complained to the main kitchen manager and he says "sorry and at least nothing bad happened" thanks! But imagine if something bad happened if i ate it?
I also complained to the main hotel manager about what happened. Told him this hotel is not up to the standards of a 4* and he agreed that this hotel needs alot of improvement! Will post a pic on here of the food and some pics of the room we stayed in.
My next holiday will definetly be in a 5* hotel!

Looked good externally, could have been so much better, not what was advertised for all exclusive. Also be care as one of the female reception staff will try and charge more for excursions. Also the room we had never had a table and chairs like the others inside, the patio doors made a noise like a siren with the wind. The shop in the hotel was trying to see used after-dinner for $25. Indoor pool and all but one bar are not Inc with all inclusive. The booze is given from multiple bottles. I asked for a glass of red wine which was given from the dregs of 3 bottles. Same with beer. The cups are tiny. Probably a 6th of a pint.

Despite reading negative reviews, we stayed for a week in Nov 17. The staff were very friendly, the pool was kept clean but very cold- I assume to keep it from getting crowded? The rooms were generally clean however the fridge did not work, we had to request a remote for the TV and there were ants (did not unpack and kept everything off the floor). The bathroom definitely needs to be updated, poor finish and bath/shower needs to be replaced. We went all inclusive but meals were not great (still edible but would pity any kids as choices were limited) so ended up eating out a lot! Fresh coffee (or at least NOT coffee machine coffee) would have been much better and not leaked all over the floor daily. Activities at the hotel would have made the stay better, very little to do if not out on an excursion. Overall, requires some work but generally not a bad hotel. Could be better though!

What can I say about Zalagh Das Kasbah Hotel? Well the answer to that question is utterly abysmal. Similar to you reading this review we were completely deceived by photos of this hotel and thought that other negative reviews that we had read were just written by pedantic people. On a first glance the hotel looks a picturesque sight. But staff in the reception were very rude and every time we approached them with a query they were very dismissive.
Said (receptionist) berated my mother and shouted at her when she simply asked for receipts for drinks we had bought. As they tried to charge extra drinks to our bill. However other staff particularly those that you would assume to have a lower status (cleaners, waiters and bellboys) were very courteous and positive at all times. The lady who cleaned our rooms was very helpful and seemed to know the hotel better than staff above her.
The hygiene in the restaurant was very poor food was very cold and plates and cutlery were very dirty. On your journey to this travesty of an eatery you couldn't help but be greeted by the unpleasant stench of sewage. It was horrible.
Our taxi Abdul Aziz was one of the highlights of our holiday he was extremely kind and even waited for us in the city whilst we shopped and then continued to take us home. He even refused tips despite our constant begging for him to take. If you come across him make sure to treat him with respect and kindness.
Overall we believe that travel republic should strip this hotel of its 4 stars as it did not meet this criteria. Thank you very much my friends b

This hotel is really run down, the maids that clean the rooms are the only good thing that this hotel has.
Maintenance is not great here cracks in walls, around doors and around he pool that they just put chair's over to stop guest tripping over, a really bad smell between reception and the pool.
Toilets by reception and the pool are not kept clean, stocked with toilet paper or have working hand dryers.
Receptionist was nice to begin with but would send you to someone else saying that they can't help you , are rude to your face.
The room was meant to have a kettle, 2 pairs of slippers, a ceiling fan, a working fridge and A/C unit none of which was in our room.
Management are not helpful, didn't care about what he was was being told and even said the British complain too much and if he goes to the UK he will complain to see how we like it, after that we learnt that there was no point and found some nice restaurants 5/10 mins walk down the road at the new mall that served better food than the hotel.

Staff were extremely unhelpful and rude. All rooms are different and weren't ready by 4pm when we went to check in.

The pools were nice however even though there are signs saying that you cannot reserve lounges people still did.

Food is overpriced and average. You can go into town and get something cheaper and tastier!

They offer a transfer service, even though it says they drop you off at the market they actually take you to the train station.

Pleasantly surprised with this hotel after reading a some negative reviews. Good breakfast and dinner selection, sheets changed everyday by housekeeping and 2 big pools to enjoy. Wifi not great but were times when it was fine. Minor inconvenience for me. Would definitely stay here again!

Although the hotel itself is very nice and the staff are helpful and friendly, it is run very poorly. We went all inclusive and found the food was very repetitive and the bar (for all inclusive members) was at the far end of the complex and constantly ran out, as well as serving in small plastic cups. For those who were not all inclusive, expect to pay equivalent of £5 for a pint of beer. Whilst we were there, lots of complaints were made about the shortage of beer at the all inclusive bar, and the hotel manager threatened to sack the barman if any more complaints were made. The barman was a great guy too. Around the hotel also was sewer smells. There are other hotels in and around Marrakesh. I would visit Marrakesh again as it is a lovely place but not back to this hotel.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE !!!
Bad food slow wifi no shuttle service a/c doesent work could not sleep due to beds being so uncomfortable! Would not recommend this hotel to anyone!!

Hab mal grob aus bereits existierenden Meldungen zusammen gefasst:

Das man am Empfang warten muss und man dieses alberne Formular selbst ausfüllen muss.

Frühstück unter aller kanone! Das personal behandelt die gäste wie ein stück vieh! Absolute frechheit.dazu kommt noch das chaotische rezeptions personal wo man 2 stunden auf einzimmer wartet.

Reluctant staff with arrogant aggressive welcoming. I would suggest travellers and tourist to stay at Ibis that would be a better option than staying at worst Zalagh Hotel Marrakech. Being a 4star hotel and impressive pictures on internet practically very cheap hotel with staff who doesn't know English and untrained unprofessional staff who are so rude as they are could.

Wifi near impossible to connect to expect for in the reception. Terrible breakfast.

The check-in was as if they didn't have our reservation. After about 30 min of watching several staff members try to figure it out, we were told the room wasn't ready (it was around 3 pm). The people who checked in next to us were given keys to a room that wasn't clean and came back to the front desk while we were still there. Overall, the check-in just seemed unorganized.

Bad experience so far The bedding in the hotel room is dirty and had clearly been slept on. The staff quite unhelpful and the free shuttle service which goes from the hotel to the square was unavailable due to the van breaking down, however staff continued to insist every time we asked that the van would be with us in half an hour which didn't happen. Had a persistant cab driver who waited outside the hotel pestering us in to letting him drives us around. Ended up going to search for a supermarket to buy food. heating in bedroom does not work, side tables broken, bathroom cold and dirty. The hotel looks deserted have only seen two sets of couples thus far in the lobby and no one anywhere else, pool deserted.

Very nice hotel lovely pools and garden but the rooms very we were giving a room that wasn't very nice but they moved us after comlening to nice room however the foods wasn't very good and the restaurant setting not very good not even fridge for the salads bar and meats
