What a lovely hotel this is. The rooms are beautiful, the central courtyard, like a tropical jungle, has tortoises roaming around and there is a 'mini gym' tucked in amongst the foliage if that's your thing. The pool is large and heated and if you want a more shaded area to sit that's the place. If you are looking for the sun then head up to the roof terrace where you get views of the distant mountains, the storks flying around and the tops of the palm trees. The staff are excellent. The menu is limited for vegetarians, fortunately I also eat fish but we found that 90% of the menus in Marrakesh only offered Veg Tagine or Veg with couscous and the Veg is in very large chunks and slow cooked. Tasty but dull after the second time of having it. We had a relaxing massage and facial whilst we were here and although I'm sure you can find one cheaper, the whole experience was delightful, clean, and we felt in safe hands. We also took the trip to the Ourika (sp?) valley where you can 'hike' up to see waterfalls. This trip was fantastic but only for the fit I would suggest and of course you do get taken en route to the pottery workshop and the Argon oil cooperative I would recommend this hotel to everyone. There were families staying, young couples, older couples and everything in between. Enjoy.

We have been to many riads, restaurants and swimming pools whilst in Marrakech. All of them I could find something to moan about. Except this one. The staff are friendly and helpful, the pool is beautiful and warm, the music around the pool is peaceful (unlike most places which aspire to be clubs) and the food and drinks were great. The riad itself is pretty special.

Relaxing gardens fill the large patio of this traditional Riad. Decent size pool heated in winter, small meeting room and creative gym allow everybody to find something for their taste.

Stayed for a week for our anniversary. A lovely, quiet, oasis of a hotel. The pool is nice, the restaurant serves good food, and the rooms are very quaint, and unique. We used both the massage and hammam treatments, which were both refreshing and very relaxing. Good location in the kasbah, away from the high pace of the main medina.

I recommend les jardins de la Medina to my friends who visit me at Riad LakLak in Marrakesh if they want to spend a day at the pool. The advantage is that you can walk to the place when you stay in a riad in the Medina of Marrakesh. If you have a car I recommend to take the 15 minutes trip to the beldy country club outside of Marrakesh.
