Good hotel except that they dont change the covers and the shower tools that you get to use daily, the breakfast time is too limited. Everything else is so great, the staff are awesome and super nice.
Nice location and view. Very bad services.
When you walk in the lobby is beautiful, but you will be deceived. If you want a smoke free hotel this is not the place to go. Smoking is allowed throughout the entire hotel. Some of the lamps in my room didn't work. Dirty dirty shower curtain. Rooms need an update. Fitness center needs desperate help. Very minimal machines and has only one barbell. I don't know how you're supposed to work out here. Bell boys are 5 star. The breakfast is very good, but there was a man with a black tie, tucked in white dress shirt that was extremely rude when I was pouring myself some tea. He kept telling me to hurry up and get out of the way.
I stayed at the hotel from 10 to 15 September. On the night of September 11-12, a person entered my room at about 5:30 (am). I asked for clarifications at the hotel (three different people, two at reception and one at the public relations table), I got long and at the end with the excuse that they had many guests, they simply ignored me. That is why I warn you that security and customer service are regrettable. I would not recommend anyone to go to the hotel
Great service - lovely staff, nice rooms, good facilities. I am currently staying here and am loving it. With such a great location comes a bit of noise but it's not really that bad. All the attendants are very friendly and helpful. Executive rooms give a great view of the beach front literally a stones throw away.
Lots of noises and uncomfortable pillows. Otherwise pleasant place to stay at.
Nice View, friendly staff and near most services.
Hotel is located on the beachfront and has free parking on each street, either side of the hotel. We booked a family room which was two adjacent and open rooms looking into each other, in a duplex format (small lounge area downstairs). Only gripes were that the air conditioning system wasn't particularly strong, only one bathroom was available in a room for 5 people and the room wasn't cleaned properly. Swimming pool was great fun for the family and the adjacent gardens are very well kept a nice place to sunbathe/relax. Wifi is available free of charge but was intermittent. The breakfast buffet (included in our room rate) was massive and there was a good mix of hot and cold dishes. The fresh fruits and pastries were great! The kitchen staff at breakfast were very friendly and courteous. The front desk staff however were not friendly and were always talking in amongst themselves when dealing with guests. Quite disappointing. All in all, location is great (lots of cafes, eateries and a convenience store nearby), safe area, next to the beach, great breakfast and good room size and amenities. Lovely place to stay with family and especially for those with young children.
Stayed here for several nights - the rooms were comfortable with air conditioning a nice pool and a massive selection for breakfast. The wifi was on the blink but I was able to use one of the computers in the business centre (it's free). Reception and concierge were very helpful when we had questions about where to visit and how to get there.
There's always some Grand Taxis outside waiting for customers which is handy, but of course more expensive than the small taxis. The hotel is close to the kazbah (around 15-20mins walk). There is a bar in the hotel but if you're in Tangier there are more interesting things to do than drink.
The hotel is in a good location. It's opposite the beach and about in the middle of old town and new town. About fifteen minutes walk either way. The room I am in is reasonably clean and the view is decent. The reception staff are very slow and seem to be somewhat incompetent in doing their job. The options for buffet breakfast is very limited. If the hotel is managed more thoroughly, with a bit of work it has the potential to be much much better.
Very nice hotel with swimming pool and mesag place and nice gardens
Great place. Nice weather. Friendly people
Excellent location, wonderful breakfast, comfortable rooms and easy to get to. It is about a twenty five minute walk to the historical center. It is very close to many restaurants.
Comfortable rooms, if thin walls. Food in the restaurants was good, although service a bit rough around the edges throughout. Staff speak Spanish and French, but don't expect English. Very reasonably priced.
Pros:
Nice location, clean and fairly modern rooms.
Cons:
One person speaks English in the entire hotel. Nobody really knows what they are doing, and constantly you are made to wait at reception as that one person is summonsed.
Myself and my girlfriend ventured outside to the pool, where a security guard (G4 security) shouted at us, and told us we were in the wrong. Nice
In short, I loved Tangier, but hated my experience here at times. The hotels saving grace was the restaurant manager who opened the restaurant just for us, and the friendly bar staff.
Note drinks are expensive in the piano bar, and at night times if you are in a sea facing view room you will hear the music from the down stairs bar
