J'ai beaucoup aimé mon expérience. J'y étais pour une seule nuit pour le travail. La chambre était très belle et le wifi no 1. Le personnel est sympathique. La vue est superbe de la terrasse. La machine pour la carte de crédit ne fonctionnait pas alors j'ai du payer comptant.

A year ago I went to see this small maison and I was amazed at how beautiful, well-decorated and furnished it was. The European owners spent a lot of time and money to create a truly luxurious place to stay, deep in the medina.

There are direct views of the ocean and port from some of its rooms with terraces, all with exceptional decor and beautiful baths, art works on the walls, quality beds, carpets, air-conditioning and heating. There is nothing in the immediate area that comes even close to this small and exclusive place.

That said, Le Balcon de Tanger probably is not suitable for elderly people with walking difficulties, since it is located some distance beyond the Hotel Continental and it could be unsafe at night without an escort. The area of Dar Baroud can be described as somewhat seedy.

But if you don’t mind walking and the somewhat distant location, Le Balcon de Tanger is a special place and you may not want to leave.

The only thing I did not like when I passed by on a subsequent walking visit from the Marshan, through the Kasbah and down to the Medina where Le Balcon de Tanger is located is that the blue paint on the exterior walls are unnecessary and not the right shade of blue.

But inside, Le Balcon de Tanger is very well done, comfortable and seriously worth considering for your stay in Tangier.

Hôtel dans la médina donc très typique , le patron est français donc un confort européen dans l'hôtel . Séjour très agréable .
