Quite simple, cleab rooms for addordable price. Very good and freshly made breakfast. Very good location - just opposite the Maxon railway station. The only one minus - it was a lot of noise outside from the street.

Friendly welcome, clean but small room. Good breakfast, though bacon was barely cooked. Great location, opposite the central station. Safe parking garage nearby.

The room that I book at 2nd floor (€140/night) has no water boiler.
Room is quite spacious.

They have a good lounge staff. Pro and very friendly. We can order anything from drink list for free. And get mixed nuts as well.

The location is perfect. Just across the station.

The hotel is quite nice overall. The staff is very friendly. The rooms (or at least the room I had) are quite small, but functionally. There's a bed, a bathroom with shower and a desk with a chair. The bed is good and the shower is also nice. The room was in good shape, it may have been redecorated recently. On the sixth floor, there was hardly any sound from the outside, but the walls between the rooms are not very thick. You can hear sounds from the neighboring rooms. Breakfast was fine. The location is excellent, really directly opposite the train station.

I wished to have quiet room on higher floor, so I got the room on 5th floor, and it was a pleasure to sleep like baby. Bathroom was fabulous, new, clean. I believe this room was freshly renovated, and beautiful like no one was there before. I had to leave early to go sightseeing at 6 AM, so in advance, I let hotel to know that I wish early breakfast, chef packed nice bag with normal yoghurt also (which is almost impossible to find in Lux, all are sweetened, such a funny custom). Room had beautiful fat soft carpet, very interesting lightning and lovely decorations.

As a woman, travelling alone, I found the location of this hotel quite intimidating. I would not want to be arriving or leaving in the dark. The room was adequate, but noisy due to outside traffic. Breakfast was good - except for the coffee, which was almost undrinkable. In terms of general location, this hotel is at least 20 minutes walk from the main tourist attractions.

Staff were always very friendly and helpful. The location is ideal if you want to travel to other parts of Luxembourg. The bus from the airport drops you off right outside. The room we had was large with lots of natural light. The beds were comfortable but the pillows were very soft for my taste. The breakfast was much better than we expected and set us up nicely for the day. As a comparison with similarly priced hotels in other cities this is very good value for money

Comfy place to stay.
Hotel entrance directly opposite railway station. Hotel is of a good standard, not chatty staff, lift acess to all floors. Room not large but not uncomfortably small, glass wall shower room (something different) with a good flow. Has poor WiFi connection. Short 10 min walk to city centre and Notre Dame cathedral

I had a booking at one of the Empire Hotel's properties, the "Apart1Hotel." When I arrived, the room reeked of smoke. I asked for my room to be changed; the hotel said they had no other rooms available. They offered me two options. First, they suggested I "just open the windows." However, they could only be opened slightly, the smell did not dissipate, and the street was noisy. The second possibility was to cancel my booking and refund my money.

Obviously, there were no other hotels at a similar price point available at the last minute, and I found this "solution" to be completely unacceptable. It wasn't my fault that the non-smoking room in the hotel reeked of smoke! The owner offered me no alternate accommodations and was unwilling to pay the difference to put me in another hotel.

I would strongly recommend that you avoid all of the Empire Hotel's properties. The owner couldn't care less about his customers. He basically left me on the street, and the trip ended up costing me much more than expected - not to mention the two hours I wasted trying to get this problem sorted out. AVOID THIS PROPERTY.

It's an okay clean basic hotel. Right across the street from the main train station. Pizza place right beside it. Rooms are being renovated.

A good place, enough warm and very clean. Maybe less light during night would help to fall asleep easier ;)
