A good transportation way to students in university of peradeniya. Situated in between science faculty and agricultural faculty. Trains available here in most of the times. But not everytime. Railway buses are also available from here. Accessible for peradeniya area from here. Small hotel,stationary item shop, fruit juice shop, photocopy center available withing few meters from here.

One of the most beautiful railway stations of the hill country is Sarasavi Uyana.Sarasavi Uyana railway station at 900m from Peradeniya junction and 8km from Kandy city. Several natural, ancient and artificial points available to visit closed to this place.
