A Sub Railway Station. Can't buy tickets, on officer on duty. Number of slow trains stop here. First one around 3.40 A.M. Kandy Nawalapitiya train. 7.10 a.m. Nawalapitiya - Kandy, 8.20 a.m. Nawalapitiya- Kandy, 10.10 a.m. Nawalapitiya- Kandy, 2.15 p.m. Kandy- Polgahawela, 2.20 p.m. Kandy- Nawalpitiya, 4.30 p.m. Peradeniya- Matale, 5.10 pm. Kandy- Nawalapitiya are some of the popular trains that stop here. Sizable number of office workers and children from Sarasavi Uyana Maha Vidyalay use it. Number of people who are going to Peradeniya Teaching Hospital use it as it it located with in walking distance. People going to Peradeniya Royal Botanical gardens, University of peradeniya, and near by government officers can use it. Currently bit under used. Hope more and more people will use it.
