Nice rooms for the price. The swimming pool is more for sport than recreation.
The hotel is ok but I dont really like the location
Nice Hotel with lovely Rooms. Bathroom top! Breakfast was really delicious. The Location is not the best for Tourists. It's the most expensive part of the city i think.
Lovely hotel in the best parts of Seoul. The staff is very helpful too.
Value for your money in the city
The staff were condescending at times.
Nice hotel, could only afford things that were on special for food and drinks, can't spend $50 US on lunch person. Whole area is expensive, not my first choice again due to the area
I stayed for 8 days at the Riviera Hotel while attending a conference at the nearby COEX.
The first impression was: a nice hotel which is quite a few years old and which has seen its best days a while ago. It is surely a good hotel but there are many details which are not ok for a luxury hotel. But first the positive things: the staff was very friendly and helpful. Most of them speak a very good English. The room was large with a very comfortable bed. The room and the bathroom werd cleaned every day. Unfortunately the air conditioning was very weak. Even at the highest level I had 26 to 28C during the daytime at around 22C at night in my room. In the bathroom were dark stains in the silicon seams and all parts (bathtub, tiles, etc) were worn. Also the curtains and the carpet in the room had so.e stains. The i formation brochure in the roo. with information about the hotel was outdated and contained wrong information. I think this should not happen in an hotel of that class.
All rooms have fast wifi network, however, my devices lost quite often the network connection and I had to reconnect.
The breakfast buffet was very large with several foods you (at least I) don't expect: fried rice, vegetables, grilled chicken However, two minor issues: the bread seemed to be old and 20 minutes before the end of the breakfast time the waiter asked me if I finish on time since they wanted to close the restaurant. Also, prices for coffee or tea in the lobby are very expensive.
There is a free shuttle bus which brings you to COEX in the morning which is very convenient if you attend a conference there.
Friendly hotel with warm staff. Enjoying my stay a lot.
Slightly pricey, room was very nice but had difficulty with AC only goes to 68 still feels warm, everything in hotel has pricey cost. And if you have to leave/ check out early for any reason including emergencies, they give you a hard time and refuse to refund, even if it was for emergency reasons.
