Traditional, stilted, wooden lodges in tranquil surroundings. The 20m pool is clean and quiet. The bar and restaurant serve high quality local food with a few western options. The staff are very friendly and the service is excellent.
Beautiful place and staff. Very nice service.
Ultimate Pleasure.
If you’re in Siem Reap or thinking of visiting Siem Reap then you should have Sala lodges in your bucket list, here you will have a unique and authentic experience of Cambodian culture.
With 11 traditional wooden traditional houses, we stayed in lodge 8 which was built in 1965. It was a very pleasant place to stay, rooms were well maintained and clean, the staff in the restaurant were very friendly.
Our stay at Sala lodges was excellent and we are very excited to come back and stay here again soon.
Authentic experience of Cambodian culture.
After a 2 nights at Sala lodges with my boyfriend I have come away with all my previous views reconfirmed. It is people that make it for a holiday and ALL the people at Sala lodges are absolute gems, From the front of house staff right through to the ones you seldom see everyone has time for you and couldn't be more obliging than they already are.
The place is such a happy environment that guests can't help being relaxed. Any information required is at their fingertips often with personal recommendations for things to do or where to get anything.
Pro - everything here deserves a five star. Tranquil place, amenities, facilities and service. Various breakfast from variety types of eggs you can order. Yogurt is the best.
Con - the only thing I would say is this is quite far from town that's why it is so tranquil.
Clean, good value, air con was key 🔑
goodness:
- the villa style
- room details
- service (tidy up the room few times in a day)
- helpful and friendly staff
- the pool environment
something you may consider:
- the price is a bit high
One of the best hotels in town with an original rustic concept. Stunning authentic wooden houses with all the comfort you need and surrounded by an amazing garden.
An amazing oasis in Siem Reap. It's a group of real Cambodian houses (on stilts) which have been thoroughly modernized (with air conditioning) while losing *none* of their character and charm. The lawn and gardens are beautifully designed and maintained. The management and staff are charming and efficient. Many little touches -- like a wet towel and a cool drink when you come in from an excursion. They will organize vans for visiting sites, also very well run. A fantastic experience.
