This hotel is in a very good location near to centre of Sihanoukville and the beach. The rooms are very good and a really good size with tea and coffee making facilities, fridge and flat screen television. There is a separate bathroom. The room is very clean and serviced every day and the towels changed. The breakfast is ok but don't expect to get a english or continental one. There is a egg station where you can get fried, or a omelette etc, you can do toast and there is fresh fruit. But otherwise it is a Asian breakfast. Also don't leave it to late because they do not replenish when its gone it's gone.The dinning room is what lets this hotel down as the staff don't clean the tables when someone has left, and don't seem bothered. Most of the plates are chipped and should definitely not be in use. The swimming pool is kept very clean also. If you feel lucky there is also a casino but did not go in there myself.

We took the suite and enjoyed it very much The room was clean The staff at the hotel are very nice and they have a high service awareness Thank you very much to the hotel staff and of course the management will be happy to return in the future 😃

what can be said of the golden sands hotel, firstl, rooms are dirty and need to be up dated, plus cockroaches abound, my shower) resturant full of flies, dirty knives , forks, spoons, cracked and chipped plates, cold food, no tea or coffee and after refusing the first 2 rooms i was up dated to find the window over looking some building alterations, the front desk people work overtime to please but are losing the battle, it seems the money needed for the rooms to be up dated was spent putting in a casino, my advice, give it a big miss, james white.

First of, I give this hotel 2* instead of one because of the location. It's walking away distance from the beach, night time food, and pub area.

Now, if anyone come to stay in this hotel please be aware of AC system, three rooms our of four rooms that we booked doesn't work. Door lock doesn't work properly, worst thing I saw cockroach on my bed.

The thing we hat the most is that they really did do anything to accommodate us.

One last thing, the buffet. They give us 2 people per room even tho it's for sleep four, and the price is 6 dollar per person. The picture is show what they have for the buffet and you guys decide if it worth $6 a person.

you can stay free if you play in the Casino baccara .ask the casino.not the hotel , top office, about 150 meter to the beach ,top.

Nice hotel but they've made a major move towards the Chinese crowd and have really lost all class but putting gambling machines right in the restaurant so you have Chinese people playing games next to you while you're trying to have breakfast used to be a very pleasant hotel with great location

I used to stay here all the time because of their convenient location close to the beach and their nice pool but I did not enjoy my last stay because they recently opened up a casino downstairs and the place is currently under construction. Loud music was playing near by at 4am and they started construction around 5am! Loud voices and loud banging. Could not sleep.
