Arrived at garden village guesthouse with very high hopes after it being recommended to us by a friend. Unfortunately it failed to live up to these expectations as the swimming pool located on site gave me chemical burns. When i asked a member of staff they said they would get back to me, which they didnt. Also construction work was going on in the guesthouse 20 meters from my window which in turn lead to a terrible nights sleep as it began at 7am. Do not stay here.

They woke me up everyday at 7.30 with construction work. The swimming pool gave my girlfriend a rash due to the chemicals they used and they did not even apologise after we told them about the pool. The WiFi didn't work and the showers rarely had hot water. Would not recommend

Prices are cheap. But this translates to the upkeep of the guesthouse itself. The cleanliness is to be desired. I don't think our bathroom was cleaned in the 4 days we had been there. Construction work at 4am (doubt it was the hostels fault, however).

The food is to be frank, not good. Half the time our dishes arrived cold (tofu and rice dishes). Not good, considering westerners are desperate to not contract stomach viruses. The "mocktail" I had was $2 for coconut milk and pineapple with so much ice that in 3 sips it was finished. I don't even think the staff had even made it as they were bickering amongst themselves.

The area: the pool and slack line are great and during the day the back area is a great place to meet like minded people. The hostel also has an integrated tour company inside (more on that in another review).

The hostel is a party hostel. Cheap booze, cheap beds and cheap food. However this culminates into a cheap experience

Fun community. But accommodation could be better. WiFi is slow. Everything you need is nearby. Walking distance from night market

We stayed in AC double room by the pool for 20usd per night. The Room was nice and clean, though WiFi was Slow And unstable. They serve meals And drinks 24hours per day which Is good benefit. Atmosphere by the pool is relaxing but sometimes might be noisy when you try to sleep. They Have also guesthouse 200meters Across the road which Are cheaper but the cleaning And maintaince is bit worse there.

I took a private room here with a double bed, AC and private shower, it costed 10 USD per night. The stuff is good and well organized. I booked a bus ticket, gave a laundry to do, ate here and everything was almost perfect. The only thing that disappointed me is that someone stole my (good leather) flip flops from the pool :( I guess it was one of the guests but I don't know and it is a bit frustrating. If not, I highly recommend the place.

Great place at a reasonable price. Wifi is fast enough, pool is small but relaxing, staff is helpful and kind. The only bad thing is that they don't advertise they have two buildings, so you don't know where you'll be staying: the one that has the pool or the new building. On the plus side, they're only (less than) a block away :) so it's really no big deal and that walk helps ypu get to know what you have around you: places for massage, bike rent, cheap $1 breakfast, etc.

Prices between extremely cheap for dormitories, private rooms for cheap (I payed 10$ for room with a large double bed that I shared with my husband, 2 fans and window with mosquito net) and a variety of rooms with more beds and/or A/C (various prices) up to luxurious rooms around 20 - 25$.
24/7 food and drinks available; free pool with small whirlpool for guests with great variety of sitting options around.
A great place to make friends and find nice people to talk always!
Staff is extremely nice too plus there are very tasty budget food options (first place in Cambodia where I mostly ate at guesthouse instead at Khmer food stalls).
Also there is a football court and a volleyball court available.

The rooms were good. We payed 16$ for a double room with AC. The rooms were quite big. But the service wasn't good. We used their laundry service. They told us two times a time when the laundry would be ready but it wasn't. So it took one day longer than they said. Supposedly they have someone at the reception 24 hours. When we were there at 4 o'clock in the morning no one was there. After waking up a few people they finally found someone that came to the reception but still wasn't able to help us. All in all it was okay because the rooms were okay but we weren't satisfied with the service.

Very laid back. Ton of backpacking foreigners who are all friendly. 24 hour pool with swim up bar. Very cheap food and drinks available. Have many different room options from dirt cheap to Moderate. $5-25 for hostel type to a room with AC, big bed, and private room. Awesome customer service. Wifi was kinda spotty and maids didn't come around too often but was having too much fun in Siem Reap to notice or care. Recommended hotel for sure

Its a very good guesthouse. You can meet a lot of travelers in the lobby. The price ist chep and the rooms clean. Its not a hotel but for travel its perfect. Close to the center (pup street) 5 min when you walk.

Really nice place, swimming pool and 24h bar are a must (swimming pool could stay open after 22h though!). Really nice place to chill, pool is present and slack line too. Food is good and not too expensive, seen also the good location (2$ for a burger with a beer included, for instance). Rooms are a bit expensive for backpackers , but if you search for a dorm it's just OK.

Nice large rooms for fairly cheap. Pick-up football games, swimming pool, slacklines, billards table, lots of fun stuff to do if you just want to hang around the place. The nicest thing about staying here is the restaurant, open 24/7 which is perfect for that moment when you've stumbled back from Pub Street at 4am and realize you should probably eat something before passing out. Good food for super cheap. They rent bicycles for $1/day which is a great way to get to Angkor Wat. We also booked our bus trip to Bangkok through them and it went smoothly. This is basically your all-in-one tourist hub.

I was having dinner with some friends in their restaurant. I have a Cambodian friend that I invited to join us. When he got at the door, they told him, he was not allowed inside, as no Cambodian people are allowed. I went out, because I couldn´t believe it, and they told me that it was not possible. They said that they had problems in the past, because of cambodians selling drugs. This excuse was lame, as I have seen many times in the public area of the hostel WHITE people using drugs, getting totally wasted or even practicing sex or nudity in the public areas of the hostel. So the policy of the hostel is that WHITE tourist are ok, they can do drugs, they can get wasted they just have to be white and they will always be welcomed. Nice Cambodian people, are not welcomed. It is a shame that things like this still happen in this century. Please don´t support this kind of racist, stupid, crazy business.

This hostel has a swimming pool area where to chill during the day, rooms are clean and nice for a reasonable price. But the most amazing is the menu: they have delicious deals for just 2$ and kitchen is open almost 24 houras a day
