This hotel is now called the Bayon River side Boutique Hotel. Conveniently located by the river. Comfortable room however the air con wasn't up to keeping the room cool. Reception staff very efficient and friendly. Swimming pool was lovely. Not massively impressed by the breakfast selection and the two staff on breakfast duty who stood stoney faced behind the bar and watched us all the time we ate were most disconcerting.

Very nice Hotel, super accomodating and helpful staff. Free airport pickup was great, then we were then given an in depth look at things to do in Siem reap and the tuk tuk rides etc that the offer.
The only minor note was the breakfast, it was fine, but felt a bit lacking in choice, although we did enjoy having eggs cooked for us every morning however we liked outside.
The pool area is nice and relaxing, and not too busy at any one time, and the rooms themselves are very large, with a walk in shower/wet room. You also get a free bottle of water each every day which is a nice touch.
The hotel is located just over the river from the busy pub street etc, so fantastic location for any type of person, and close to lots of restaurants.
Just a few niggles:
1. The plates/bowls/glasses at breakfast aren't restocked fast enough
2. The bacon/sausages etc that are stored outside near the egg stand are cold, and should be kept warm.
3. Some milk in the room would be nice
4. No hot water on a morning in the shower (or rarely)

The best hotel and service I have experienced in many years.
This lovely little hotel out shone a 4 star luxury hotel in Bangkok that I also used on this trip. The Hollywood Angkor is almost hidden away, but does have a lovely entrance way with fish pond. The taxi was greeted by staff who took my luggage and ushered me in out of the heat. Taken straight past reception and sat down ready to fill in forms in comfort. A cold towel was presented to me followed by a chilled apple juice in a champagne glass.
The staff could not have been more helpful and the duty manager so obliging as to provide a laptop when I had an issue accessing a PC to upload an SD card of photographs.
Breakfast was very enjoyable with eggs cooked to order, not pre cooked and served up from a hot plate, like the 4 star did. Unfortunate I did not sample the evening meal as exploring the town was a priority having been on tour all day every day. From what I saw it looked very good.
The room was very comfortable and had a balcony to enjoy the sunset each evening. We looked out on to the river and the town. Far better view than most hotels I've been in for that price.
The hotel does not have a Spa, but does provide a massage service provided by a local reputable company. We had the Khmer massage which was more pleasant that a Thai massage yet still eased the aches of touring temples.
I would recommend this hotel to everyone who appreciates quiet luxurious comfort. It is not suitable for a lads or lasses holiday, this is a serene peace and quiet hotel.
I give this hotel 5 stars for quality comfort and staff helpfulness and attitude.

Had a great time here. Hotel arranged a tuk yuk driver to explore Angkor wat. Be sure to read up online about scams in siem reap before you go, especially tonle sap rice scam.

Good boutique style hotel with a (much needed) swimmingpool. What brought it down from 5 stars is the shower, which was often plain cold and the fact you can get unlucky and have a room with a brick wall view instead of a balcony like most rooms. Ask when checking in if they have a balcony one free

Clean and spacious. But there is no lift and there are four floors which can be a problem if your knees aren't very good. Breakfast is OK. Staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is near pub street which has its pros and cons. There is low music sound coming from the street even at 11 pm and the chanting from the nearby temple starts at 5 in the morning. But it does not really disturb us since we are so exhausted after a long day of walking in the heat. Would come back here again.

It's perfect for my last day in Cambodia.
Breakfast can be improved.
Location is perfect, very close to pub street and markets. Air-con is super cool. I asked for early check-in but my bus arrived much earlier, and they gave me the room just as the early check-in approved. Staffs are all nice, always smile. Computers provided. Stayed here for 4 nights in June 2016. Great little boutique for the price of $40 US a night with a pool which was welcome after a long hot day outside but it was usually empty. Aside from the free breakfast I never ate at the Hotel as there are many great places to eat nearby .no need to walk all the walk to Pub street.

Very nice hotel, but the best thing about this hotel is the super helpful "service with a smile" attitude!
Staff was easily able to book tours for me to Angkor Wat and at a much cheaper price than the tuk-tuk drivers were trying to sell me directly.
The included free breakfast was fresh and sufficient, serving some local fruit, coffee, and even made to order omelettes.
Reasonably priced, large rooms, and a very short 2-3 min walk to the Pub Street area made this place a good choice for me. It was just far enough that you don't hear the loud music coming from Pub Street area.
Highly recommend this place and I would stay here again.response / report this review
