Rolf's was okay since my main agenda going there was to see the bridge and paint ball. The paint balling was so much fun and the bridge was breath taking.
The problem was with the other activities like football, pool etc they looked abandoned and haven't been in business for a long time. Most of the structures are very old and abandoned as well.
I didn't taste their food but the sorounding environment was amazing.

The remaining functional sections of this gorgeous place warrants it 2 stars. The meals are deliciously great, the landscape is awesome, the bridge is the backbone and Rolf's place selling point, but the rest of the place is like post war ruins.

The food is good and the setting is serene and beautiful. Went on a weekday and there was little going on. The staff were not too enthusiastic to serve.

Great position, awesome scenery, great food and drinks available, a non-crowded swimming pool, open berbecue available, paintball and other games available. I loved my visit here, will visit again.

A perfect place for a romantic weekend. Just a few minutes from the busy city life you get into a relaxing place with brilliant views and impeccable design complete with a suspension bridge. Who said you have to drive for hours to enjoy a holiday?

It was really nice. The bridge(though very scary) the pool, the paintball pitch, the terrain. Basically everything was nice. Too bad they close early. But it's a must go destination. Also you can just walk around and see everything without being charged

Beautiful entry that was dampened by a guard telling me not to take photos of the bridge??? Our Entry to the restaurant was ingnoref by the staff who appeared to be half asleep. Upon tracking down a waitress she told us they were out of all juice, ordered drinks which all came warmish. Ice was not available. Ordered chips. After 20 mins of waiting I asked where they were and was informed that they currently had no electricity but were waiting for it to come back on?? Paid and left without eating. Too bad because the location is really cool but it’s under terrible management. Would avoid at all costs.

Built like a medieval fortress on the edge of a cliff overlooking the gorge which has a very nerve racking suspension bridge.

The food here is of International standards and the ambience is eerily African. There is as good my as you can find in Kajiado.

Next door is Kitengela Glass where you will find very creative glass art to complete the experience.

Great scenery. Walking on the bridge that hangs high over a gorge was an awsome but scary experience. The food and the service was great. I recommend it as must visit destination in Nairobi despite it's not so good accessibility.

Rolf's place is a serene place😍; I personally loved it..it is perfect if you just want to get away with your better half, friends or family.. and enjoy beautiful views😍
However, if you want to enjoy more than just the serene environment, then lower your expectations especially on matters food😥..
They don't have most of the things in their menu and the food that's available is nothing out of the ordinary 😅😅
It's also not a place you go when you're super hungry.. Because the food takes some time to prepare.. I'm glad our waiter warned us in advance..😂
All in all..i believe its a place with great potential if the management puts in more effort😊😊

Hotel is located in a serene environment though you must have your own car because there are no public transport there. You will enjoy the food and the service in this place.it's also good for team building

Before you reach the hotel you must pass the suspended bridge be strong enough to cross otherwise it's fun

Out in the wilderness. Across a gorge. One of the best part of this place is crossing the Hanging Rope and Wooden Bridge.

Great place to hang out. Have a great view of the flowing stream below.

They have nice indoor seating as well as outdoor. But We liked the outdoor one, specially if it is day time.

Food is good, not extraordinary, but the ambience and experience is extraordinary.

Weekends are generally crowded so suggest to book early.

They have rooms nice too to stay there. The room decor will take you back many years of time. And Relaxing stay for leisurely spending your time.

The Pepper Steak and Filet Mignon is outstanding. The Tea Masala was also very tasty. There is limited seating overlooking the gorge. Kind of pricey but I've heard this is true all over Nairobi.

The management of the place is totally in denial to the requisites of good customer care!! 80% of the food items on the menu were unavailable! Beers and spirits were limited to just one or two selections . the shelves were EMPTY!! The waiting staff were not trained and had no experience whatsoever with regards to serving and attending to the clients!! Would not recommend this place unless possibly a total rewamp of management happens!!

Website details as depicted can mislead. Our latest visit in 2017 April was disappointing especially food wise wherein many things were a miss from the menu as availed. The only good bit is the hanging bridge and the decor inside. All else is rundown. The new management better get it to a standard of price that it charges.

The pool was not clean. Quite dirty and green. The buffet was lackluster. The food ran out and the roast meat was more of bones.
They don't accept cards. Any cards not credit not debit. They also don't have till numbers for mpesa payments.
.On a positive note the DJ was good and the music helped quite a bit. A bit of a downer though for Easter.

First the service was TOO slow, waiters didn't even know how to describe what was on the menu. We made our order and half of the items on the menu wasn't being served. So what's the point of the menu? The food was average not to mention the very poor presentation. We even asked to see the manager to give feedback and apparently, we were supposed to go see him and not him to come see us. It's like they were punishing us to have travelled all the way from the city. Please order water only and take photos my friends.

Nice for a weekend trip. With groups make sure you take the paintball challenge. Also, cross the bridge between the valley has great views
