Nice and comfortable place
This place has to be your last choice in Osaka
Position is ok, 10mins walk from Osaka station and the owner is very kind.
These are the only 2 positive things.
Then, the place is very dirty, air conditioning works only from 9pm to 6am, rooms are very tiny and you have to pay 100yen for 6 mins shower
Cozy & friendly place to meet fellow traveller.
Mr Kazu is friendly & very helpful.
tips : walk from Umeda Dorm to umeda station via Umeda sky building is way faster than to change train (at nakatsu station or )
Es un buen sítio para alojarse, Mr. Cazo es una gran persona, el gran problema es la limpieza.
This is for backpackers. Cheep and small. Small home built rooms with little to none privacy. Very thin plywood walls so you are required to be silent in the evenings. Good food saving a few bucks on a long trip. But if you're out for romance this is not the place. Although very close to the romantic view from the rooftop of shin umeda city near by.
適合給背包客來 老闆人很熱情 英文還不錯,不過房間隔音稍差 另外洗澡時用水要投幣 100¥ 六分鐘,六分鐘是出水的時間
I stayed at Umeda Dormitory 8 days together with my girlfriend. Despite the name the facility mostly has private rooms. There are common toilets and coin-operated showers in the common room. The room is a bit small and the dormitory in general is not really clean (it's quite dirty, i must say), but we enjoyed our stay nonetheless.
1) Price was phenomenal
2) Great position, right behind the Umeda Sky Building, just 10 minutes on foot from the Umeda station where you can take JR Trains, Hankyu Trains and several subway lines.
3) There's a Family Market open at late night less than 50 metres away
4) The owner is a really nice and helpful person, he gave us lots of maps, depliants, discounts, etc.
5) really fast free wi-fi.
it's clearly not a 5 stars hotel, but if you want a really economic place in an excellent position, this might be the place for you
For all that is precious DO NOT STAY HERE. It is a death trap that makes you pay for showers. The whole building smells like unbathed people and there's no way the building is up to code. Many hidden fees and the owner makes you sign something like a lease agreement. I don't trust it at all.
