5 minute walk from Maiko station, about an hour from osaka. great vie of the bay and bridge. Insist on bay facing room at time of booking. you can see small fishing boats and freighter paas under the bridge during day and well lit bridge at night. Promenade is right in front of hotel.pick up bus available from station regularly.

Great view of the sea and the bridge. The dinner buffet is pretty good. The room is standard size, which might be considered small by westerners.

Seaside Hotel Maiko Villa Kobe is located around 5min walking from the maiko train station. The surrounding atmosphere is calm and relaxing. There are some restruants around, but not that many in comparison to the busier parts of Japan. The view from the hotel is amazing, with the vast ocean in front. If fishing is the main objective of the trip, it is better to go to the higashi tarumi fishing park where you can rent a fishing rod and other materials.
