Well it's clean. That's the end of the good side. The rooms are loud due to the train station being right next to it and a hollow metal door that let's the conversation of inconsiderate hotel goers at 7 in the morning penetrate right into your room. The towels they give you are tiny and pathetic in quality. The shower hot water is off by default and the controls are all in Japanese so I didn't even know I had to turn on the heater till I got wet, dried off, went to the desk and asked. Then once you finally get it hot it alternates from hot to cold every minute! The price of the hotel was also way too high compared to everywhere else we stayed and the type of room we got. No free toothbrushes and all the other toiletries here like you get at every other hotel in Japan.

If you want to stay in Osaka, but don't want to pay to much to much then this place, or the accomodation around the general area is what you want to aim for.
Small rooms, smoker friendly and no frills. But with so much to see and do you won't spend that much time in the room anyway.

Shared bathrooms etc are what you get for this price.

Is a very good location in between a few train/subway line. Be expected small room, like very small only fit in 2 person and luggages and that's all. Share bathroom is a challenge as you need to queue up especially during peak hours. Other than that, all is good and clean. Oh and they only provide you brush with toothpaste, a small towel. Wifi is not stable almost all the time.

I wasn't aware of the location being bad until I got there. I also wasn't clearly aware that the rooms were so small and didn't provide shower, toilet, etc per room. If knowing the layout was this way, I would have paid more at another hotel.

A decent place if you are on a tight budget. Must bring your own towels for the shower. Very firm futons.

Extremely noisy. We had a twin room but the two matts didn't even fit in the room. Showering was a challenge because we had a room on the 6th floor. And you needed to shower on the 8th (at least rhat would be closest) but first you had to get the key on the first. And there was just one shower for multiple floors ect.

Good installations and the price is also very good. The walls are thin and because of that you can hear noises from outside or the halls but that's the only catch. The staff is very kind and committed specially Pepper the robot.

I stay in SUN PLAZA ANNEX II for one week, just 5 minutes’ walk to Shin-Imamiya station. The front desk services is normal, but their greeting is best. English language speaking are poor. Information they provided is 1:1. They will not provide additional. Examples, the microwave and men hair dryer will be there only for 8am – 10pm, but what is the status before and after?
I can only said for those who are not always fussy, you might can stay in this type of hostel. Limited schedule for bath at 1st floor, 8AM - 10PM (for men), must request key. Ladies only allow at 2nd floor and one bath room. 24 hours bath is on 8th Floor.
The Room door is made by iron, so when people open or close the door, the iron sound/noise is as loud as you will notice. Their Room is Clean and no funny smell. Please request few floor up away from smooking room. It will be difficulties when you sleep on the smooking floor level.
They even have few company name the same, SUN PLAZA. Please make sure you book at the right location, but all is under one company.
    The surrounding area are convenient.

All good except that reception is closed in the night hours. If you have to check out before 8 AM, you will lose your key deposit amount. Impossible to check-in at late night. Shower facility limited , and kept under lock and key with reception.

This hotel is good with cheap prize and friendly staff. Located in near Shin Imamiya station. However, the room is too small and the environmental surround is not good for woman to travel alone

Rooms are very cramped, but come with a fridge, a TV and, of course, an AC unit. Bathrooms as well as showers are shared with other guests, at least for the cheaper rooms; the bathrooms are relatively clean, while the conditions of the showers vary from time to time. At this price point however, small rooms and occasionally slightly shabby showers is to be expected. The staff is quite friendly and helpful, and there are cheap laundromats available on the lobby floor.

Location is very central, with good access to pretty much all of Osaka. The nearby Shinsekai shopping area provides an abundance of options for food and drink, and the Tenshiba park is good for a morning walk.
