Sorry to tell you that we are upset from the regency

No Maintenance for the sink - not draining. Bathtub too.

Breakfast very cheep compairing with 5 stars.
Untrained employees. Not clean ground at breakfast Resturant

Rayed 5 stars but I would give it 4. Attended many wedding and engagement events and food is great. Would recommend to visit traders vics. U lounge is good for summer nights

Excellent hotel. In any country, I find local 5 star hotels have character, which international chain hotels usually lack. Found it to be true of this hotel.

Checked in very late at about 3am and reception had us sorted out quickly. All marble interiors, floors and walls, perhaps too much marble.

Our room was in a high floor facing north. Had a great view of the city but was partially sullied by an ugly grey building under construction across the road.

The breakfast buffet was fantastic. Wide spread, local flavors, lovely seating, and great service.

Location not exactly at the epicenter for sightseeing, which would be the Citadel area. But not far either. Didn't try local transport as I was driving. But getting a cab must have been very easy.

Nice staff. Prices sometimes are extremely high. Sometimes you should book the hotel through out the reception not an app.

You expect a state of the art service and quality but it is not the case when my friends and I visited the hotel on new years eve. We were not given the table we had booked and on top of all that our drink was stolen and the organizer was very aggressive when she was informed about the situetion. The floor manager was incapable of handling the situation.We were expecting at least an apology or a compensation, but such professionalism was not present. We were told that there was nothing they can do about it. We left as early as possible. I honestly do not recommend this place for staying or having a night out with friends. The worst experience ever. Does not deserve even one star

This is listed as a local 5 star hotel, but by western standards I would consider it no more than 2 stars. It is old and out dated. Maintenance has definitely been deferred for at least a decade. The lobby looked decent. Rooms were horrible, old carpet, not clean, smelled of cigarette smoke. We complained that our room had no hot water and apparently it was hotel wide. They upgraded us to a suite due to our complaints, but the next night we found a cockroach on the pillow that my fiance was sleeping on. Guest services came up with some bug spray, apologized for this, and offered us late check out. We said no and left for another hotel. Unacceptable standards.

Their windows leak air so you can't sleep at night especially in the high floors, my room had a bad AC and a non working water heater so I had to change the room to another noisy windows room.
Plus they lie to people about the Regency club members, I had to buy my son's birthday cake from another place because they didn't write my order at all, not once but twice.
I will never go to this place again.

Location is excellent. In the heart of the city. They have a great roof top lounge and bar. Rooms are okay. Clean and spacious.

Rooms were not ready, no towels and even going to swimming pool there are no towels in most cases . Swimming pool is very nice and warm . Restaurant is nice an affordable

I stayed three nights in this hotel in Dec. The carpets were worn and dirty, and the bathroom looked like one that had been abandoned for months. Everything in this hotel is very dirty, the washroom, doors, carpet, and the walls. This hotel not worth more than $10. I will not recommend any friend to stay in the hotel and rather, I would recommend people AVOID this hotel if they travel to Amman.

Great option in Amman. This place excels for its service and F&B. Trader Vic's is fantastic and so are the bars at the regency where the staff pampers you. Rooms are big, excellent beds with outstanding linen, the bathrooms are a bit dated but we'll maintained. Certainly a great option when staying in Amman.
