3 stars hotel. Recommended for travelers, clean rooms with cheap prices.
Very well kept and clean. Staff was very nice and friendly.
Not value for money. Even though it is near to the Petra ticket counter, the climb to hotel is very tedious. There are no room heaters or kettles in room, making it tough. The worst part is they have different type of double rooms, some very congested and without a window view. The ordinary tourist has no idea and they will suffer.
Value for Money
I really enjoyed my stay at this property, it was more comfortable than the 5-star properties’ I stayed in Jordan. But let me warn you the furnishing here is old and gives a feel of poor maintenance. The room’s lockers didn’t work, there was no kettle in the room to heat drinking water, and the carpets looked dingy. So why was it more comfortable than a 5 star? Well, we had options for three actual beds in a room (not a folding one taking up whatever space is left in the room), this makes for a blessing when traveling with a kid. Also, the beds were super comfortable. In the end, I prefer 8 hrs of comfort sleep than 10 minutes of looking at great furnishing. Extra service included the reception selling us mineral water at a nominal rate, normally its always at a premium. When I asked for hot water they heated it in there pantry kettle and gave us, so it’s not like they are lacking in customer service, just more crude at it.
The breakfast had a great spread and the items very tasty. Although by 8:30 we were the only guest left and the staff had to be asked to replace items which were over (maybe everyone has an early start here).
The best part about the hotel is its location. Petra entrance is just 5-7 minutes’ walk away and the route is filled with other restaurants/cafes, shops, and a hammam.
My take its perfect for those who look for comfort and value for money, but if you like luxury and fancy stuff, stay away from this hotel.
Great accommodation option in Wadi Musa. Within walking distance to Petra Visitor center. A bit old and needs some repairs, but ok overall. For example, only one power plug worked in the room., furniture was old and was cracking and squeaking. Also, a not so great experience when we asked for traditional food. We were given a much much higher price that any restaurant in town We just said "no thanks" and went to "my Moms Recipe" and we were ok
But, on the good side, it's easy to find, very decent breakfast, silent rooms.
Views and comfort :)
Very nice experience. Close to the archaeological site - only 5 minutes; lovely staff - they made everything possible to make our stay pleasant; clean and cozy rooms. We arrived before check-in time, but they hurried to have our room done so we don't wait.
Also, although the restaurant was closed at lunch, they still prepared fresh food for us - and not something they had around, but what we asked for.
I highly recommend this hotel, it's a very good price-quality ratio.
Only positive with this hotel is that it's close to Petra. Stayed in better hostels across Israel. Among the negatives are: Our toilet had a leak that was never fixed and the bathroom stank of rotten eggs, the "king-size" bed was tiny, the staff was unfriendly and the breakfast not very good. We ended up eating at another hotel nearby (because the staff at our hotel couldn't tell us whether the chef would appear or not). If you're looking for a cheap place near Petra it's fine, you'll survive the night. Just don't go in with high expectations.
I stayed for 3 nights and I had a great time. The location is great (5 min walkt to the entrance of Petra), the stuff is friendly and Abdullah as the owner likes to be in touch with the guests. We had several coffees together and he helped me a lot with his recommendations. The rooms are clean and the included breakfast was great. A great place to relax after exhausting days in Petra.
Very good hotel in a great location. I stayed in this hotel for two nights for my visit to Petra. The hotel is less than 5 minutes walking from the Petra entrance. The room was very clean and the bed was good. The staff is very helpful and friendly. I can not think of any downside to this hotel.
Perfect place for staying in Petra. Very good location, just 5 minutes walk for main sightseeing.
Rooms are good size, very clean and comfortable. Here you can find everything you need for comfortable staying.
Also I really liked restaurant in the roof with amazing view!
